  2. this has to be a fake post right? someone with a fake name having some fun? LegitPilot maybe your intent was not to be insulting and demanding but that is how your initial post came across. maybe a more contrite followup like "I was frustrated and didn't intend to sound insulting and demanding" would get you more help than doubling down on the everyone else is wrong attitude.
  3. I think theraw 3d model is the easiest part, the animations and optimazation in Max to get the model ready for SF2 is the hard part...then the flight model the skinning and all the ini work. I think getting the raw 3d model is just the very start.

  9. I'm not sure if this is something that can be done but I am trying to add some crew figures to existing AAA vehicles. Ive added them as misiles and they show but the problem I'm having is I can't figure out a way to have the figure pivot side to side with the gun without elevating with it. Any experts have any tips or know if I'm trying the imposible?

  11. it's a WWI type looks like the seat is fixed. but this was more a proof of concept to see if it could be done. if so it might be far easier to get a modder to make a few generic crew men than to make awhole new AAA unit. It does seem to work in FE with less issues than in SF. in FE the movement of the seated crewman is far less than in SF for some reason. looks like lots more testing to do here.
  12. i will have to check edit. I tried but that stops the gun from moving too. it will allow me to add drivers to the trucks at least. Well that is if the missile codes are still alive in FE ;)
  13. the funny thing is I don't want it animated. I added it as a missile. the issue is the guy rotates and elevates with the gun. the rotating is cool but the elevation ruins it. if I could even just get no movement I'd be a happy camper and just add the guy in the drivers seat. that lack of crews on the FE/SF AAA guns and the FE trucks is a huge I\immersion killer for me.

    thanks for all the hard work and patience that you have put into these uploads. It is very appreciated. Am I the ony one who noticed the remark about the SPAD XI? I'm giddy as hell over that ;) if memory serves there was just an engine change between that and the SPAD XVI?

  18. ok I'm just throwing this out there,I have no idea how to do it or if it would work but what if you made two objects. One a large "fire" and the other firefighters hunkered down.give the fire fighters zero for movement and have the fire move slow and be armed with an invisible rocket with almost no range.the fire would creep towards the firefighters,or buildings or what ever ,and when in range would fire it's weapons that just happen to have crater effects that mimic the fire spreading? that would allow "close support" missions to save the fire fighters from a fast moving blaze.....morbid but I wonder if it's doable. I guess if a suitable transport fire could be made it might be useful in armed recon missions too......
