or even a note saying he THINKS he is done with PC development of Strike Fighters. That way it leaves the door open in the off chance he wants to do something but still lets us know he isn't supporting the PC engine and has no plans to do so.

Just saw on YAP facebook page that they are going to sell carriers in the future the same way they are their helicopters. it looks like they are removing the static deck aircraft. I don't know what kind of deal this will be but for people desperate to get these carriers this might be an option.

not sure the reasons but if you drop the "Effects" from "Unlimited" to "High" it goes away.

hmmm this sort of thing could keep a lot of military hardware going in countries that have embargoes on them. this could be very useful at sea. where instead of trying to stock every part you think you will need, you could just stock generic raw materials and print the parts as needed. Same in a space environment. Hate to sound overly optimistic but this could be a game changer as the tech matures.

ok since I have zero idea how or if something like this can be implemented so try not to laugh too hard. we have known for a while that you can just make and "invisible" submarine fairly easily but no way to really simulate finding a submerged with sonar. What if you were to add a small radar to the submerged sub that had a pretty short range that could be picked up on a radar warning screen that was set up to simulate a sonar screen? Also it wouldn't be too hard to have the ASW torpedoes setup as radar homing missiles to attack the subs. Does anyone know if something like that would be feasible?

I bet that JonathanRL would have an interest in this for his Swedish campaigns. lots of Soviet subs sneaking around close to naval bases up his way.

for any that don't have access to the A-team's numerous new 109F versions it would be useful for sure. maybe somone can make a "fake" cockpit canopy that looks more like the Fs too.

I'm not even sure it was meant to represent an actual plane. Bort who made these planes just modded his original files to be "approximations" of actual aircraft. Some were more or less accurate and a few may have been more fantasy than fact. Still I am grateful for these old timers. they filled(and a couple still do ) in for many missing types and were all we had for many years. There are a few that still have not been redone but most can be retired. I still use his Farmans and a couple others.

now that is freaking cool.
