  7. Happy to meet you. Well, this really true for the Mig-21Ms from Soviet factory, that Indians called "Mig-21MFs". The Russian's "Migs for the monkeys" (socialism was an only utopia...) whith older engines and avionics. But the HAL Bangalore build their "Mig-21M", that Indians in fact simply called "Mig-21M", or type 88, that had the "more powerful R13-300 engine, better RP-22 radar, periscope on the canopy and baffle plates below the auxiliary inlet doors" and "was virtually identical to the Mig-21MF (izdeliye 96F) and was of a superior specification to the Mig-21M (izdeliye 96) " The words are not mine, they come from Yefim Gordon's Mig-21 bible (pag. 593). I'm a Mig lover ... So we can say that IAF Mig-21MF were Mig-21M and IAF Mig-21M were Mig-21MF There was a little confusion beyond the iron curtain .... I'm testing a "downgraded" "real" Mig-21M with LSK, PWL,YUGO and IAF skins and numbers already done. I only couldn't delete periscope from inside the canopy. Someone could help me? Thank you all for your interest. Paul

IAF Mig -21MF 7° Sq. “Battle Axes” The IAF called Mig-21M or Type 88 a model virtually identical to Mig-21MF, that was produced at HAL (158 planes were built). It served from 1973 in these squadrons: 7° Sq. “Battle Axes” at Gwalior; 9° Sq. “Wolfpack” at Hindon, Haryana; 17° Sq. “Golden Arrow” at Bhatinda, Punjab; 35 °Sq. “Rapiers” at Bakshi Ka Talab, Uttar Pradesh; 37° Sq. “Black Panthers”; 51° Sq. “Sword Arms” at Jamnagar; 52° Sq. “Sharks”; 72° Sq. ; 101° Sq. “Falcons” at Sirsa Haryana; 108° Sq. “Hawkeyes” at Bakshi Ka Talab. Known serial numbers and Battle Axes Squadron Badges are icluded. I took this camouflage from Americo Maia’s works. If you have some good picture schemes of other squadrons, please send to me, and I’ll try to skin. Yours Paulopanz To install: This skin is for SFP2. So simply put the files included in this pack in SFP2 folder. For SFP1/WoX install, you have to change decals settings, but it should works.

Mig-21F LSK/NVA Camo When in the ’80 the older Mig-21F were retired from fighter units (JG-3; JG-8 and later JG-9) they served in AFS-31, TAFS-47, TAFS-48 as tactical recon planes and in JAG-15, FAG-15 for trainig. So the original silver skins were left and the aircrafts went camo. I made this skin (1024x1024) using my own, home made, templates, the decal numbers (included) are the same, historical of my previous LSK Silver Skin (a little below here at Combat.Ace). I hope you like it. I’ld thank my friend Herr Carlo “Souli” Vecchi for his constant help, effort and, as usual, for the original numbers fonts, too. Upgrade 1.1 At last I found probe, antennas etc. and now are silver painted. Numbers little shifted. New patch file. Numbers meet serials (copy new numbers file in LSK Silver Skin if you like ..). So try 645 for the “Q” mark. Yours. Paulopanz :dirol: P.S. To Install in SFP1/2; WOV/E/I simply put the decals in decals folder and LSKCamo1 in your Mig-21F folder. That’s all.

  13. Grazie per la risposta in italiano, complimenti. Proseguo in inglese, così ci possono capire tutti. The WOE 1964 campaign is a work in progress, so I haven't uploaded anything. No link yet, sorry. Please, if you can, check the data in the Polish, Czech and mostly Mission/Campaign. For example in Soviet OOB in Mission/Campaign, could you help me about which Mig-21 (F, PF, PFM) version use ? I would like to put togheter all possible informations. Ciao, a presto. Paolo
  14. Hi sorry for calling (.... mostly lindr2). My project is on Mission/Campaign Building Forum. It is not politically but would be historically correct (I hope). In this transition year there was only for fun (...luckly ... my friends!) the WW III. In 1964 there were old jets and upcoming fighters togheter. I think it'll be fun and interesting. Fly them all (west and east) is the idea. So I put there a Soviet DDR OOB to check (I'm Italian, I know a little English but not Russian ...). Please take a look and tell me is something is wrong and I'll update. Glad to know something about Soviet AF in Poland and Czhech. I need you and is a pleasure for me, born and grew up with the iron curtain on, be able to freely meet you here. I love Migs, ........... I have to admit. Please answer. Ciao Paolo
  15. 16. searching the lod finds no reference to pitot or tube or anything close, so I guess we're stuck with it! wrench kevin stein Abracadabra ............ the magical spell was "PROBE" Try this, please ... [AircraftData] ................... Component[018]=PROBE [PROBE] ParentComponentName=PROBE ModelNodeName=PROBE DestroyedNodeName=PROBE DetachWhenDestroyed=TRUE HasAeroCoefficients=FALSE ............ now your mod is a little closer to the real one. The probe was on the right outer wing on P and MP. Could you add it? What about the Mig-19P upgrade, too? Ciao Paolo
  17. Thank very much you Kevin. Just a couple of things: - The loadout.ini needs tank fix in a-a long range (only to renumber entries). - The pitot (?) in front of the nose could be deleted? I don't remember it in Mig-19PMs. More Migs, more fun. Paolo

    WOE 1964

Thank you for help. I'ld have another couple of questions for you: - which bases ? (I have added Colmar airfield ... which escadre?) - what about number of planes and squadrons org (1/3; 2/3 etc.) ? Merci (I'm sorry but I'don't speak French). Paolo
  21. So beautiful and Italian, too ... Simply great. Now we need only a place to fly an Austrian-Italian campaign with your planes! Paolo
  22. Very interesting. Thank you. I opened a new topic in French forum for some help, too. I think to post a first OOB soon. Ciao Paolo
