I have really to thank you, and especially our Polish and Czech friends, for all the kind support received. Several pieces of the puzzle now are set (the Polish OOB is really a maze .. ). Some fantastic new skins are done by Soulfreak (F-84F), Hgbn (Hunter, F-86D ..), 331Killerbee & pappychksix (F-102A) and some others are in the works .... I'm very happy of it. I have decided to put aside (waiting a better model) Mig-19PMs and I'm still thinking about Mig-17PFs ... I like Wrench's last upgrade of his and Pasko's mod, and the Fallout3 new plane, in Gepard version too, should need some nose upgrades .... but we can put the numbers on the nose and paint it in different colors ... I still need some French help for some Super Mysteres and Mirages squadrons. The same for Canadian OOB of 1964. This is an open mod, a work in progress to reach the best possible historical care. We could fly only Portuguese AF, I think. ..... after we colud have Migs 17-15UTI against SAAF Mirage IIICZs, Canberras and maybe, tomorrow a Buc , but I don't now if desert map in the real world has the Sud African border ... for the Africa campaing Paolo choose the countris that you want and make a city list and base list for starteres(ops bad enghlis) then we can focus on a standy terrain and a campaing has a indepente mod and terrain. Cocas .... found. In Bunyap's "strike fighters .... editing info" at the bottom of pag. 34 " ... It is based on digital elevation maps from the USGS and is the actual terrain of Mozambique ... The bit of island on the north end of the map is actually the west coast of Madagascar .... "Mosak, Dhimar" is actually close to the present day Beira, Mozambique ..." So I think that some of our Portoguese or Mozambique friends could try to drive back the desert terrain to real world to gain a true african scenery for a Mozambique campaign. It is only an idea, but I liked share it with you. Paolo

I like your list, because, like you I think, I love old jets more then the modern ones! ... I'ld add only a Seavenom, very good for a Suez campaign, too, and should be a dream list. Paolo

Hi Carlo, I saw your skins and read about the made in Germany Pit (...) in the works and I miss Marcfighters .... I'm sorry for that. But I think that we really need a good Alphajet. About the Magister it should be very usefull in Woe in GAF, French and Belgian colours. In 1967 (WOI) war it took action agaist arab forces, striking airfields. It's the only combat plane to add to OOBs. There'ld be some beautiful Finnish skins (with the boar head), too, for You to make .... and it's a very nice bird indeed. I don't know if someone is working on. I could serch some data for him. I have some very good FS9 freeware magister on my HD, too. They could be a start point? Maybe Veltro2K could take the job ..... :moil: Paolo

These skins are really fantastic. I'm working on a historical WOE 1964 campaign (see topic) and I just put in action the F-102A with these USAFE squadrons: 496FIS 525FIS 526FIS 32FIS I'm going to include 431FIS (skin uploaded) rebased in Germany from Spain, too, as reinforcement. The upgrade is very good and I think is the best for this model. I have found something about guns .... look here please: http://cosmopark.ru/mig17.html Yefim Gordon is his Aerofax book about all Mig-17 versions at page 36 wrote: "Apart the powerplant, airbrake and radar type the production version also differed from SP-6 [MIG-17P] in lacking cannon armament" So in my Mig-17PFU I deleted the third gun, too .... Hi brother, The bird is more then a beta, because is just near perfect, I think. But the unitlist I made for you is real a beta: I lack some service years data (Iran, Thailand) and retirement data (Belgium, France, Netherlands, Norway, Taiwan). So it need to be completed. Instead the others (and more usefull for Viet/Soviet change in SFP2) I made for Mig-15 and Mig-15UTI are quite correct and good to upload in your previous toys. The pilot I put - with shadow added - in the cockpit is "USAF50s". I don't remember who and when made and where I found it, but it is pretty good. Try it please if you have, too.
