Just curious if anyone (maybe MrMudd,etc) has fooled around with things like Axes curve,etc in the joystick setup page to see what settings give the most realistic feel?? Im not so much concerned with keyboard command layout as I am actual feel of the controls or responsiveness. Anyone played around with this and found anything interesting?

The main difference I would say is the weather effects, much better in 2004.

I cant take it anymore, Rix has got to go! In the begining I wanted to give him a chance, but not anymore. He stinks to the 4th power. He lacks all the fundementals that make a good quarterback and his decision making skills are on par with a pee wee leaguer. Im with Terry Bowden- FSU will never get to the National Championship as long as Rix is the QB. Im ticked off!!!!!

Big difference between a Cessna which lands at around 50-60kts and a 30,000lbs F15 landing at 130-140kts. :) Just the fact that your flying a jet vs a Prop means your approach speeds will be higher, but weight is just as important. -
Well Im for it. Can this be used for other sims besides FS9 as well like for combat flights in Lomac for instance??

Sounds good. The Carriers are worth the price of the upgrade alone. I've never been a big fan of Abacus flight models, how are they in FD3?? FD2 had some flight model issues.

I hear ya Chief, Clinton was the reason so many of us left the military in the mid 90s. I dont know of anyone I served with who saw Clinton as our Commander in Chief, he was just another elected official to most of us. There is a difference btw people.

Didn't Mayport get closed down as well? Thought they moved everything up to Norfolk. I know Kings Bay sub base is still going strong just north of Jax, But I though NAS Jax and Kings Bay were the only ones left open.
