The main difference I would say is the weather effects, much better in 2004.

I cant take it anymore, Rix has got to go! In the begining I wanted to give him a chance, but not anymore. He stinks to the 4th power. He lacks all the fundementals that make a good quarterback and his decision making skills are on par with a pee wee leaguer. Im with Terry Bowden- FSU will never get to the National Championship as long as Rix is the QB. Im ticked off!!!!!

Big difference between a Cessna which lands at around 50-60kts and a 30,000lbs F15 landing at 130-140kts. :) Just the fact that your flying a jet vs a Prop means your approach speeds will be higher, but weight is just as important.

Sounds good. The Carriers are worth the price of the upgrade alone. I've never been a big fan of Abacus flight models, how are they in FD3?? FD2 had some flight model issues.

I hear ya Chief, Clinton was the reason so many of us left the military in the mid 90s. I dont know of anyone I served with who saw Clinton as our Commander in Chief, he was just another elected official to most of us. There is a difference btw people.

Didn't Mayport get closed down as well? Thought they moved everything up to Norfolk. I know Kings Bay sub base is still going strong just north of Jax, But I though NAS Jax and Kings Bay were the only ones left open.

Just south of the east gate we had a S3B do a hard roll over after a touch and go and crash near the east gate in the pine trees. Both pilot and Copilot punched out ok, but the pilot spent a few minutes hanging in a tree before the crash crew could get there with a bucket and get him down. Now that I think about it there were a few crashes while I was there, but when you fly that much crashes will happen.

Today at 3PM and probably later tonight as well will be a program on the S3 Viking called "Scout" My old squadron VS27 Seawolves will be featured along with VS31. They filmed this right before NAS Cecil was closed and the squadrons were moved to NAS Jax. Good Show, check it out. also "red october" FA18vsMig29 comes on at 8pm tonight as well.

Nesher, I saw it and thought it was pretty good, but refrained from getting involved in a political thread. Dutchy, the little anti-american comment was out of line. I'm sure that poll was fair and unbiased. <_<

So whats the deepest water you have drilled in?? Do you stay in the Gulf or have you trecked out to the Atlantic at all?
