the article gave me chills.. sad to hear or read about a fine man dying while serving his country but even sader to hear about one that fights for country not his own! i agree with Outlaw, they should be granted citizenship as soon as they join the armed forces! they deserve it <S>

i saw in the National Geographic channel the series "Seconds from disaster" the episode about the Forrestal, i was shocked from the sequence of events... i thought after that fire the carrier was a goner but after a small to trip to wikipedia, i learned that the Forrestal continued on till the early 90's :) USS Forrestal in wikiperdia <S> to the brave men who faught the fire, and to those who never made it back home!

great story Dave... in Israel it's very common for people to walk to soldiers and greet them in a way it happened to me many time warms your heart to see that people care and respect you when your in uniform.. hope every serviceman and servicewoman will have the pleasure to be greeted and respected as they deserve by the people of their country <S>
