So I was just reminded that back in 2020 I updated the data files for just about every ground object in the Falklands 82 campaign and forgot to post or upload them. If anyone wants to test them feel free. If things are working I can upload them to the download section.

I so wish we had the source code. The FreeSpace 2 Source Code Project has done so much with an old engine. They just managed to add multi-threading for processing weapons fire impacts effectively doubling frame rates in large combat scenarios.
As for SF2 flight modeling, I recall that the F-4 demonstrates its real stall characteristics on hard flight model that most games of its era lack. -

Wow. You can give yourself your own astromech.
Edit: Issues I encountered. Joystick and TrackIR 5 Y-Axis need to be inverted. The former in the in game menu and the latter in the TrackIR software.Cool to see A New Hope style shield flashes on fighter shields.
