  1. That's what's good (and hellacious when against it) is the turning ability of the EF2000, very tight and stable, may motivate me to fly again, nice vid too.
  2. Nice, again man it's worth the money, even though its still a beta.

  5. And after a "vacation" yesterday doing the finishing touches:
  6. More work, the triangles for the most part have been troublesome but they look decent enough now...
  7. True, though the CO schemes are changing, where NE101 used to be like NE100 now it's "old school" and same with the CO bird, totally different.
  8. That and also the US Navy allows one "show bird" for each squadron, even though squadrons like VFA-213 and -102 have two (CAG and "102" and "213"). Again it's a big change over from Vietnam-era days where all tactical (Line) jets were just the same color as CAG aircraft (Gull Grey and White, etc). Maybe in an actual war (other than OEF/OIF) they'll tone the paint down but overall given that OEF/OIF wasn't WWIII it didn't matter. And on that note CAG schemes do change when they change CAGs, with one notable exception of VFA-102, which has had the same scheme for nearly a decade or so, but keeping up is a real pain in the ass sometimes. Like you just get done with finding and skinning one, and next thing you know you see a new CAG scheme from the same squadron....
  9. BTW clarification on the above... I really don't care about textures for the aircraft if done by somebody else... modification of the original files I do care about. So skin away....
  10. I've had a weird love affair with this skin, I've always liked it despite it being USMC...
  11. To add to the above most games don't recognize the stick if you plug it in after starting the game.
  12. The Hawk is nice, and the startup sequence isn't hard to learn either. Overall it's a nice plane.
  13. I've noticed that with the SF2 versions, and doing a DACT with the Su-27/33 at least against a Sabre that while probably the same, is no joke either.
  14. I honestly haven;t touched it in a month or two, Korean War and prior don't interest me that much anymore, I'm a bit spoiled with modern-era stuff
  15. That's beautiful... makes me think I texture in crayons...
  16. Well, I'm sure somebody will come along and be impressed.
  17. DCS: World, it has the Su-25T for FREE as a "bonus" and is a fairly good aircraft. Not as cool as the A-10C, but it packs a punch.

I can't say I disagree with you on their quality, as while the Hawk is a nice plane it needs to be fixed and improved. But I don't see the post as unreasonable but the first thing to try is deal with the community and do any sort of popular mod, such as bringing an aircraft into DCS, or Arma 3 (create a really good mod) and you'll see how vociferous people can get. I mean I have to be real assertive all the time in some cases in order to shut people up. And to be honest with you I thought the Falcon 4 community was rabid, i guess it's DCS now. Hell I've been doing mods for nearly 15 years and I don't want to go back on the ED Forums again because of that factor.
  19. VEAO News

Tha's one thing as a modder sometimes hates and really hated about the ED Forums. People telling you what you already know, offering sensitive material when it's clearly stated you're not going to do so, or your project won't due to it being sensitive material. People constantly offering "help" when you know it's not, they just want to be part of the "action" but doesn't want to do any of the work. The list is endless.
