  1. Uploaded and waiting Moderator approval... By Sunday I'll get the Line version done as well.
  2. Cool. I'd like to give that stick high marks (it is a good stick) but yeah the reliability issue was something known back then and after Egypt I ditched it completely.
  3. Agreed, when I started to do a map for a failed project I would map every bit as ONE texture, rather than adding the main parts on the map, and adding the bits. Adding the bits and in the Case 1 format makes it easy for us texture artists as the parts are laid out better and makes texture work so much easier to accomplish... Here's a good example of how it could look:
  4. Damn I didn't know that... but yeah I was going to have a subdued cat and then "AJ" and that would have been it.
  5. Check the [Fuselage] section and see if this is there: "SystemName[016]=ECM" And if its not there, add the line above (sequentially of course) and re-check in-game.
  6. It may have been improved sicne 20012 but back then it was REALLY DELICATE, so it'd break just sitting there. If they fixed that problem then the ability to break it down to two pieces is a must for a simmer on the go, and fairly nice stick, but the brittleness of that stick turned me off to it. I could still put a Logitech Extreme 3D Pro in a duffel bag and get around with it. Now that I have a Thrustmaster Hotas X it's a bit more but overall can still travel with it.
  7. True... I was thinking of doing a C or A model, but I'm going to be lazy, still have to do the Line version but I felt like doing CAGs first...
  8. Amen Wrench... Still WIP (squadron name fixed with white instead of black but otherwise right).
  9. More work, decided to use the fuselage stripe from the VFA-27 CAG jet:
  10. File Name: F/A-18E VFA-35 CAG [Fictional] File Submitter: EricJ File Submitted: 24 June 2015 File Category: F-18 This is a skin specifically developed for the F/A-18E Blk I and therefore can work on a Blk II aircraft, only that due to the ECS stacks will look weird. I will upload a version for the Blk II version. However it should be noted that there is no such thing as a "VFA-35" (the "parent' unit would have been VA-35, which was disestablished in early 1995) but given I liked the tail insignia I decided to make a fictional version just to shake off the rust. 11. Yep, just that the rear seat won't have the warning triangle. I had thought of that but given most A-6 squadrons went single seat Hornets I figured that would be a logical thing to do.
  12. I'm not worried about them anymore, nor do I care anymore, I'm just going to move on and do better things in my life, so if that was a wrong thing on the kickstarter project then so be it. But agreed Stratos, McDonalds used to be the Best and look at them now....
  13. And pretty much what happened on Saturday to this day (and until the day I die, and as well to others too) pretty much shows the level of stupidity that the company has become and defies any logic. At one time they were adults but now they just act like children, and need to grow up and get some balls and take responsibility for their actions. As I'll never be a part of any community, company that fails to take responsibility for their actions, which is in my mind, pathetic and I need to move on to better things in life. But to be fair there are a few good people but you know well as I do the actions of a few shitheads ruins it all for everybody else.
  14. Uploaded and waiting for moderator approval.. Decided to modify the previous one for a "later" scheme given that CAGs change the style when they change over:
  15. Well in that video above he mentions that RRG started a kickstarter for DCS WWII and ended up fucking the backers out of any awards or benefits. Given I didn't pay attention to the WWII stuff I didn't know of that, but if true that is pretty shady so yeah... Oh some people offered to donate money for any costs associated with the Super Hornet given that I paid for all three models myself (as well as anything else which didn't come up) but I was told through Skate that any crowdfunding was "illegal" somehow and given I didn't want any drama (fat chance that) I said whatever, and dropped the issue and focused on the product. I mean they could have said "Hey man, the shit may cause some issues like controversy, and the like, so it's a good idea not to." Which in my mind makes perfect logical sense rather than threatening legal action, which is just bullying and poor customer relations. I mean if I continued after they told me that than I"d be the retard as that to anybody is a logical thing and something to avoid (drama associated with fund allocation, politics associated with how much and so on), so they have a really weird sense of sending out messages that to you and me would mean common sense things not to do, but they just come out with all these threats. I mean I really (believe it or not) don't want to devolve this topic into a "Fuck ED" topic, at least not too much, but their logic leaves little to be desired) I guess given most people and people who never do any sort of modding just don't understand the Big Picture, but seriously i've worked with he company for at least a decade so I'm not new to how they operate so their signals have gotten so stupid that I've given up. I mean I'm pretty sure I would have gotten banned over if a poster asked for the specs on a lollipop, so yeah I'm not planning on doing any kickstarters for anything as I tend to manage my money somewhat better than most people.
  16. Well that commentary on the kickstarter was disturbing, given that they threatened legal action against me should I start one, but they can do them? They're ending up being a company that thinks they're above the law yet will slam you with it should you do "something wrong". As said man, I'm done with their stupidity and pretty much are ceasing to exist in my mind. I mean I removed my entries in my LinkedIn profile and going to upload a new JFO-JTAC-Pilot guide without any mention of me working for them in a few.

This is a skin specifically developed for the F/A-18E Blk I and therefore can work on a Blk II aircraft, only that due to the ECS stacks will look weird. 18. Oh that made my day... Especially the end... But some of it is true, some not.. but yeah that's great man, just beautiful... But no matter how retarded they act I'm still legally bound by past NDAs so maybe on my deathbed I'll tell all but not while I'm still kicking and breathing.
  19. Nope, I thought VA-35 transitioned to Corsairs but a check showed they ran Intruders only from Vietnam to Desert Shield/Storm and later on. The books look good to read though, so I may get one later on, haven't read a good military thriller in a long time. But I am aware they never flew (given that the squadron was disestablished in early 1995. So this is a purely "What If' skin as I thought it would be cool (given their insignia) on a Super Hornet. I'd kinda "transition" from a C to E, and so on but no man, purely What If Some more tweaking:
