  1. I'm former Army so I never realized that VAQ-34 had Hornets (was aware of the Corsair) .Yeah sure, gimme a few.
  2. BTW Dillon here's the A texture on the B, so you can save time by simply copying and pasting the same folder into the FA-18B folder and go fly:
  3. Okay yeah the mapping for both versions didn't change so you can still use the SF2 versions on the older version no problem. It was just the file structure that changed that's all.
  4. No no no don't do that stuff man.. the old WoX version is for Wings over <Name> and NOT for SF2.... Please don't bring the WoX version into SF2... the flight model is as you noticed different and frankly I just don't recommend bringing that into SF2. The reason is that SF2 is a different setting and the tanks are not setup for SF2, which doesn't use the weapondata.ini as SF1 did, but is more "modular" that SF1 (and quite honestly saves a boatload of time) isn't.
  5. Take a look at this for the A for now, as I gotta get to bed myself, and will work on the B tomorrow plus any tweaks for this one. For some reason there's a discoloration with the front half of the A model that annoys the hell out of me (one reason I don't enjoy doing this aircraft) but I may have nipped it in the bud though with this version. 6. Yeah I saw that on the list at one of the site, four A's and four B's, and those are definitely part of that Hornet pack.
  7. Thanks! Some more work, and some tweaking and she'll be good to go.
  8. Some progress work, the tanks aren't working with me yet, just going to have to mess around with that a bit but overall (save for the modex) pretty much what it'll look like.
  9. DCS JFO-JTAC-Pilot Guide - Shkval/Mercury LLTV Co-Shooting DCS Ironhand Guide - Added the Hawk - Added the MIM-104 Patriot - Some grammar fixes as well as clarifications
  10. No worries i understood what you were talking about. Probably get it out soon as it seems very basic for the A model.
  11. As for the VAQ-34 I'll get that later on though, need to dig up a lot of resources for that squadron.
  12. And more work. Not much else I can add for now... EDIT: Texture included and simply drop in the BlkII folder and go fly, select "VFA-94" and uses the VFA-105 decals (for the modex numbers). VFA-94.7z VFA-94.7z
  13. Cool, just a start (fixed the modex) on the E version, still rough as it's been a while since I've touched a SF2 Hornet/Super so have to add the rest but overall she'll be done in a couple hours or so.
  14. Okay didn't realize that VAQ-34 was an A squadron, but easily doable. As for VFA-94, dumb question they're transitioning to the E model correct?
  15. I think it's hitting me too, just not as motivated during the holidays to do work but yeah... I'll be back into it after a bit.

  17. It's game logic, not anything wrong with the jet itself. It's automatically set per the aircraft's AoA so blame TK, not anybody associated with the Super Hornet Team. However I'll see if I can't muck with it but if not it is what it is.
  18. Bleagh I guess I need to be here more often... but the way they're setup is to automatically deploy/retract depending on AoA so if they're down its because of game logic, not something that can be directly controlled.
  19. Finally decided to upload the WIP Ironhand Guide: http://562.50megs.com/562nd/DCS%20Ironhand%20Guide.pdf I still have the I-HAWK and the Patriot and still a bit rough anyway but she should be a good start anyway.
  20. True I still have it installed but overall I just don't have a real desire to fly it right now. DCS has been a bit better and doing guide work for another one in the works has put me in a good spot with the Su-25T but the A-10A is a good deal though and good to fly. The Su-27's been upgraded but overall I stick with just four planes now, the Su-33, A-10A, A-10C, and the Su-25T. So if you need help with the those three jets I can give some pointers but overall the Su-33 is going to be my A2A jet (though I really don't prefer it) as it has no precision guided weapon capability compared to the others.
  21. DCS JFO-JTAC-Pilot Guide - GBU-12 Gunnery (A-10C) - Grammar and spelling edits.
  22. For what plane? For the FC3 jets its pretty easy. If you're learning the A-10C check out the "JTAC Manual?" topic that will explain some keys for you as it's a frakking PITA to figure out but also check the Doc guides or the Quick Start Manual for most of the aircraft.
  23. The biggest thing to remember about DCS is that it's a steep learning curve but once you figure stuff out it becomes much easier of course. While the official people that run it are much to be desired in some respects the simulation is the best you can get. And while the BMS guys have their views.... well they have their views too but overall DCS in my opinion is the best out there.
  24. FC3 isn't that bad at all but I think I got that full price and just keeping the bucks and buying on sale nowadays.
