I don't know what Cat file the Nations.ini is in, but if you do a massive dump with the CAT Extractor you can get a virgin copy of it, and by following the same format you can add other nations (and new ones) to that file. Then you put it in the Flight folder in your mod folder, and the nations would appear. -

I really like the UH-60 and especially the SOAR variants. But given the lack of real FM support I usually pass on the helos. I like the Apache as well, but again since SF2 wasn't really setup for helos, it's kinda not my interest. -

Sounds like you're trying to create a new game using the stuff from here. I would think that it wouldn't be a good idea since the file format and other stuff is proprietary to the game, so you may be out of luck. I mean you can try and contact TK and such, but since we paid for the game, then I don't know, doesn't seem like you can do it, but that's my 2 cents. I would recommend finding a new format and making tools that allow you to mod the game you're looking to make. I mean it'll save you legal hassles from Thirdwire if they find out about it. -
EricJ Taliban Fighters RC29 - Requires Game Version 2.18 - A new faction, the Taliban Red Unit, was added, modeled after the real unit. It has a Team Leader, RPG Gunner, MG Gunner, Medic, Rifleman, and a Sniper unit. They are slightly more competent and armed with Armaverse NATO weapons as per the real-world unit.

I agree with allenbj42 as while the US is divided, it's not yet ready for another Civil War, and it wouldn't be about Trump. I figure with the current attitude with Putin a real US vs. Russia scenario is more fitting than political discord. I mean we're fighting each other in social media and so on, but overall we're not at the brink. -

The Tomcats are done well, and shouldn't be redone at all... I mean yeah they are old, but TMF isn't bad quality work IMHO. Besides who's going to make the cockpits? Recycle the old ones? But a Viggen I can get behind though -

The latest CDLC for Arma 3 just came out and some dude was griping over 7.99 (that was the full price of it), and trying to get it on sale. I mean why not support a local group with some money to make more content, than trying to buy it cheap. Really set me off. I didn't say anything but yeah, some people spend more on coffee than on content for games. I mean 3W has some money, but 5.99 isn't too bad for somebody to buy either. -

EricJ Helicopter Pack RC120 - Sliding doors are now permanently closed due to the fact that they only open halfway. While I could simply just enable the FFV points to the side that opens, I felt that it was better to close them off, and remove the FFV positions. Until a fix happens they will remain closed. The framework is still available in case I can revisit this capability. EricJ Taliban Fighters RC27 - Changed the unit type manning the DSHKM - Added a new HVT, Gul Mohammed - Added a "Special Activities Division" faction, with only two units, a Team Leader and Operator. I may add more but so far it's just those two units. Again any feedback for the units would be appreciated. Again if you don't like it make your own units using your own modset, so you can have the best experience possible.

Other than the last update to the EricJ Helicopter Pack I have nothing (well the SA-2 Samson) on the horizon. I've been toying with HVT names for the EricJ Taliban Fighters mod, as I'm sure some Afghanistan veterans have some ideas (Haji Matin was in my area when I was there, and he died I think some years ago, so there's that) of names, so if you served and want to add a personal touch to the mod for missions then let me know as I'm open for some ideas on how to add them and such. One fictional name is Gul Mohammed as that popped in my head while typing this. As for everything else nothing needs as far as I know needs to be worked on. All mods are somewhat complete so I can sit back, and do nothing but read and other things while I try and figure out what next to do. I don't have much planned other than the SA-2 Samson, so whenever ADuke gets that to me, I'll get that out as well. My plans are for a standalone mod rather than part of the EricJ Helicopter Pack. I know I have Avatar-like helos in it, but I feel people would like it without requiring a large download, and it seems fitting that it should be its own mod. I know for a fact it'll not have any guns on it (like the doorguns on the ones in the movie), so first it will be unarmed, and if some enterprising modder wants to model the doorguns, please let me know and I'll incorporate them into the mod for an armed version. It will have some kind of forward rocket pod in the front as well, as I can do that so you'll have something, or I'll just allow the BIS weapons as a short-term thing. Given the engine and how it's not possible to have pylon weapons and manned doorguns (I learned that from the Helicopter Pack) in the same model, but I'll see what can happen if BIS either works on it, or it stays as is.
