  1. http://562.50megs.com/DCS/Tracks/BaitNKill1212.zip Required Module: A-10C Tor Huntin Version 1.2.12 Me: A-10C with 6 x AGM-65D, 1 x ALQ-184, TGP Opposition: Tor set on Excellent Takeaways: Figuring out the CMSP does wonders for you when you load a jammer, unlike the FC3 E key, it's all automatic and you'll see that in the track. Since DCS defaults to the next skin there's no worry about playback issues either. But in the long run long-distance Maverick shooting practice pays off in the C as it makes you more comfortable with the locking system as well as proficient when under the threat of the Tor. Unlike 1.2.10 or even 1.2.11 the Tor fires one missile instead of a few, which is good but also bad. Good because it lowers the chance of intercept and bad because if it shoots it down, you have seven more to go as well. Personally I would recommend sticking with the A program but everybody has their preference and set to AUTO. Reason being that you can worry about making the shot and the CMSP does all the rest as well as being prepared for an incoming missile since I drifted into the threat radius but thankfully not too far in, but it was far enough for me to get out of there as well and setup for another run should I not lock, which happened the first time when I tried for a shot.
  2. Three buttons above the check mark if I understand correctly. Also setting multiple flights as "Client" also in single-player or offline mode, allow you to fly one of the aircraft. For some of my training missions I have at the minimum of two of each aircraft, so if I want to hop in an A-10A I can do so, or a C, etc.

  5. More work, got the front area redefined and adjusted with it looking fairly good, though probably need to widen it a bit.
  6. Managed to change the serial number and adjust the cockpit area some more:
  7. And more work around the cockpit frame area, going to tweak it tomorrow though:
  8. Here's it in the sun.... still darkish but then again may just be lighting or something... I think I'll stick with it though.
  9. Erm.... this is actually the correct colors according to Don Color so it just looks odd rather than the reference (live aircraft) shots, so I think I'll have to roll with it, or maybe add a white layer (to get the spots as well) to get the effect. Even though naturally the shots were taken during the daytime at Nellis so the intense sun just washed the grey a bit. But again I need to take her out of ModelViewer and take it in the simulation and see how it goes.
  10. So far it looks like crap even though the colors are right. I'd lighten it up but then it'd be wrong so.... yeah
  11. Updated: - Added reference for the laser cone (JP 3-09.3 Close Air Support) - JFO/JTAC Debate - Using your Cool TGP for ISR - Urban Warfare
  12. Basic start, have to redo the canopy area and change the serial number to 75-260 if my reference shots are right.
  13. After a few days of doing modding for other people, I decided to get that Grey JAWS skin done, which starting forced me to relook at the one I did previously: Since all i need to change the overlay color and thin out the color a bit it shouldn't be too hard, but first I'm going to redo the splotches on the original texture and upload that, and get the grey version done as well.
  14. And in case you're interested here's a mission I would train on. It has some easy areas, an urban area, rural, HVT, and Mountain Warfare positions to work with. All the Waypoints lead to one spot as the Mountain Warfare one is pretty special and once you figure it out it's easy but overall the level of play isn't much but good for weapons practice. 15. Mini DCS F-86F Sabre Review by Eric J

No actually I don't normally mess with the views, so for me it's not any HOTAS setting, it just adjusts the view and quite honestly I find it very convenient as I rarely change the views at all (only when needed but that's not often) compared other aircraft. No problem Dave!
  16. In case anybody's interested... http://562ndts.enjin.com/forum/m/26813760/viewforum/5203885
  17. Haven't forgotten, just been tied up with some A3 work. After I get that finished going to switch up the mix and do that JAWS scheme with the different color (grey instead of the tan base color) next.
  18. I think the TMF F-14s get away with the MFD switcheroo thing because mostly it's an air-to-air fighter and subsequently the "Bombcat" modification you can still do it because the game models single store drop with guided bombs and not iron. I could be wrong as I don't mess with the TMF F-14s much. As one of the team members (and project lead) the Super Cockpits have the RWR display offset in the cockpit (Block I) and the Block II Supers have the RWR display on the UFCD (middle screen with the numbers below the HUD) active when switching to the weapons. Besides there wasn't much of a desire to get too in-depth with MFDs due to game logic and simplicity. If of course the functions were available (and manipulative like DCS) then yes it would have been done, but the SMS and basic pages were needed, not so much everything else. And as we all know there isn't a 6DOF support so you'd be looking at a simple texture, unable to do anything with it so there wasn't any point in adding such game limited functionality. The SMS page is of course more "interactive" but that's just to show weapons being removed from the inventory and not able to be specifically selected, like the DCS A-10C of course.
