  1. Yes I know somebody is going to ask: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=133344&page=20 They deleted my post and I'm at 70% because it took me 5 minutes not to stomp him, but I did, so let's just get back on topic and worry about the real world. I got better things to do in my life than deal with a troll (Weta43 and Company). So just read it, move along and worry about a good community here.
  2. To my understanding (I'm done with the ED Forums as of this past Thursday so I could really care less about what's going on there) there are some real Hornet pilots helping with the testing and implementation, but I think I caught a News Letter saying they were having issues so in a few years they'll figure it out and we'll finally fly the beta. But more than likely as the Super inherited some aspects (High Alpha) and other knicknacks but essentially it's a new machine in my opinion.
  3. He only specified dropping the bomb and then pulling G (never thought to think about that he may have had a little bit more) but as such a counter SAM break shouldn't be that hard I would imagine.
  4. Oddly enough I've been thinking about that. I think so far the only way is to play hide and seek with it, pop up it fires a missile, go behind a hill or mountain, etc. Then just fly in and waste it, etc.
  5. I have the PDF version (never read that portion) but... I don't think SF2 can function as such (if it can then...) but Brain32 had the NATOPS manual I believe when he did the cockpit so I'm sure when it was setup in the Ini's it was done as best as possible. I usually load the thing out (as such in the videos) so I keep it fairly "easy" to fly and don't do any acrobatics, though in a DACT I was able to down an Su-35, or something close to that with ease though, but I'm sure some RL Navy jock was "He'll destroy the plane!" so who knows.
  6. I never got thrilled by the mapping of his Prowlers, one reason I did the "Jammin Jihad" one and was like, "No thanks." If FC or an equivalent modder actually did a Prowler that would be choice.
  7. Basically, for the Afghan map I just fly along and let the bomb to the work (though it's been a long time I've done that) but even then... hold on: That's generally what I've done, and never broke a jet yet (I can't, as I believe FastCargo mentioned I don't want to...) doing bomb drops, both guided and iron. Or this one:
  8. Lol you guys... I got a PM last night and the guy described how he pulls 8g after dropping a bomb, so I'm not trying to make fun of anybody or bitchin about it just... be safe with the thing And I need to check on the Auto flaps issue (some issue with the flaps not having the correct setting at speed) but yeah, he pulled like 8gs after dropping a bomb. I'll probably have to make a video on while it's cool to pull up after your run, but you don't need to pull that hard.
  9. Yeah that's a good point, these days you need a multi-role platform, whereas the old "one trick pony" just doesn't cut it anymore.
  10. I mean I'm not saying its crap, it just doesn't lift my skirt you know? So its not bad, I just don;t have any personal need to fly it I guess.
  11. True, given the F-35 you simply don't need stealth for CAS, because it's quite obvious you're coming in for a run, regardless of weaponry, and we all know the power of a radar is going to see you, as well golly gee willickers, you're out in the fracking open so... yeah. Which is why I love jets with more pylons, bombas and missiles, and rocketas and bullet launchers are best.

  15. I've never touched the Lightning much more than take it for a quick spin and that was it so I couldn't honestly tell anybody what I thought. It was okay but realistically it was nothing exciting.
  16. If I was flying an A-10 I'd clean house much more than the Su's, but given the Russian procurement and tactical philosophy it's not surprising, they don't take a sophisticated approach as far as technology goes, and in the long run it to them doesn't matter. Sometimes you need those rockets and bombs to be effective. Than and they have enough tanks and artillery to handle fire support as well, in extremis in some cases
  17. File Name: A-10A Pre-Production Scheme No. 1 File Submitter: EricJ File Submitted: 13 November 2014 File Category: A-10A/C Skins Pre-Production No. 1 Before the Camouflage legacy of the A-10, this was one of the proposed schemes. Installation: Simply unzip the folder and extract the file into your Bazar\Liveries\A-10A (or optionally the C, though the only oddity noticed is the antenna behind the cockpit, otherwise it’s identical mapping) directory and go into the simulation go to the Payload section and for the Liveries drop down menu select “Pre-Production No. 1” and go fly. 19. A "cheap" skin I'll get uploaded shortly.
  20. She's a beauty, too bad the Russians went Mig...
