  1. I'm sure it can be done, but more than likely the pilot will be recording, or I'd save it, etc. I need to get with Ironhand about voice recording if it's just the track but I'm sure I can work something out.
  2. I'd be on the ground and he'd be in the Sabre. Unfortunately I'm more proficient with CAS from the ground than in the air.
  3. A good friend of mine wants me to JTAC him in the Sabre. After a quick flight I realized it'll be very interesting on how this will work out... gotta learn the vehicles again... so much rust to work off.
  4. Checkride... After years of flying the Su-33 and getting a better feel for the aircraft (FC3 wise anyway) I found out that there's nothing new about the plane. She's a beauty but.... nothing new so yeah....
  5. Try the BI forums.... they're even worse. Dare you to speak about real combat experiences and see what happens, you'll have the kiddos there burning their internet trying to find a response. Man I miss talking to adults again.... too many morons there, had to come back and talk to real people again.

  8. i've gone to Arma3 for that result in all honesty. Sure it's not as high fidelity as even SF2 or FSX or some other FPS games, I've done some good JFO/JTAC calls for fire on it, so yeah, it has to be developed with that sort of capability in mind in the first place.
  9. Unfortunately TK has his vision with Strike Fighters and as everybody well knows, it doesn't always conform to what we want or expect or hope for. His intention is to have a game for "fun" (i've got a lot of other things on the mind to directly quote him) and admittedly and unfortunately that translates into the game we have now.

  11. There's been an SA-10 out for ages as well as an SA-5, and the SA-6 is already in-game.

  13. Back then when I was still flying SF2 (I'm just a lurker now) I'd still miss with the 9X a few times so it's not a "death ray" so to speak. Even an AIM-120D shot misses a Flogger or a Fishbed. So I can;t say it's so much overmodeled but also pilot skill and the fact that it's easier makes it seem so to me anyway.
  14. And also don't forget to contact the author about licensing, etc. The Super Hornet models were derived from one model, and I had to clarify that it would be under a non-editable format in order to keep it legal.
  15. I think not just the tanker jets but tanker capable (KA-6, Echo/Fox Super Hornets), etc. could also incorporate the code as well.

  19. It's also pretty obvious you need to align the camo so it flows across the fuselage correctly. The trick I use in Photoshop are alignment lines and take the time to properly align the camouflage.
  20. What it boils down to is if the 3D model can be formatted into a format that can't be re-engineered. If TheWarrior contacts the maker and explains the situation and the modeller says its cool then there shouldn't be any issue with using a TurboSquid model. Matter of fact the base model for the Super Hornet is from that site.
  21. You'll have to put the modded files in the mod folder, create a Terrains folder, then create a specific folder for each map by name. The modded file will replace the original file so it'll work. http://combatace.com/topic/62302-what-is-the-mod-folder/
  22. Probably because you haven't downloaded 331Killerbee's weapons pack and working off of the default weapons.
