  1. Nice work though maybe I should release my version as well, just hadn't seen much interest in it. Mandatory screenie.
  2. Managed to get the video to record properly... saisaran it's because the MF birds are modeled as they should be. One of the reasons I don't use it is because no real radar display. For strike missions it's pretty good but other than that I don't use it for anything else. And yes the "J" does in my nickname means "Johnson." And although it's on the Super Hornet it's done the same way. I just tend to acquire each target (which if I understand it how it works) and fire. I think its a misnomer about "simultaneous engagement" where you have to still acquire each target and then launch. Multiple Engagement.wmv
  3. BTW here's the results of shooting with the F14AAvionics.dll. I recorded a short video but somehow the video didn't work... but anyway:
  4. I agree on that wholeheartedly as I may have plans for one mod and well... sometimes it's a cool modification/enhancement, but in the long run it mucks with your whole Evil Plan. And I definitely support a checkbox for people when they upload mods. If they don't read it you can sock it too him/her when he/she messes with your stuff.
  5. No unfortunately not, as far as the map "integration". That sure would be cool but you'd have to specifically map a terrain that included both (and some other) terrains. Unfortunately this isn't FSX...
  6. Not sure, I'm not an ini guru as that would have to be setup (if my brain serves me right, Crusader?) that you'd have to modify the cockpit.ini file so it can call up the weapon names, etc.
  7. No it doesn't support Ground Mapping, then again I just don't use it anyway. And since it's been awhile I know that you simply select and it will cycle targets and works fine. Doesn't make them more accurate but it works.
  8. I use it on the Super Hornet and there's a few tweaks I used but it'll function the same, just you won't get the numbering system.
  9. This may help: http://www.thirdwire.com/man/sf2/Strike_Fighters_2.htm
  10. And just in case somebody missed it... updates to the E and F cockpits with working rudder pedals: SH Cockpit Update.7z
  11. Cockpit update for the E and F model (still no word on the G specific version), with moving rudder pedals. SH Cockpit Update.7z
  12. Yep, the Phantom is good for rocketing and stuff like that, but then again, it's heavy and well.... not fun for a maneuvering fight, but as a target it's easy.
  13. That's fine SkateZilla but just wondering Maybe Spinners but this is kinda why we're leaving SF2, and not created by me, so I tend to just go with the topic since essentially it is on topic.
  14. Not bad... though it would need animating and a bit more touchup though And don't forget 6DOF and all that...
  15. Take it slow is my recommendation. My first DACTs back then as you may have read, started off with me with missiles and them with guns. Then I got a bit more comfortable and now ran it with missiles and still do. But I think you need to fly a jet and get used to it before you fight it. Of course when you get more experience you can pick up a jet, and figure out it's maneuverability and go from there. But start off with a Phantom, as it's to me anyway a good "warm up" jet as while it can burn, it can't turn very well as an opponent, giving you time to work on getting in the kill slot, either for guns or missiles. And just a note, the Atolls on the Fishbeds (and if my mind serves me right) carry Atolls, which are equivalent to AIM-9Bs, even the newer ones so you have to worry about it getting a rear aspect shot on you. Everything is cake even with 9Ls or 9Ms. The 9X or newer AAMs make it too damn easy.
  16. Ahh yeah, I think Matt is waiting in the shadows for me to move on to DCS because last time I asked he said something to the effect that I was mainly on SF2 and not to worry. But got it.
  17. With the exception of FSX, you're pretty much right, which is why I haven't removed it yet. The Crimea... a bit old if you ask me.
