  1. I'm not sure, as I let them use the Super Hornet cockpits and I'm under the impression that they were going to use all of the files. You may want to try the Facebook Group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/196048232552494
  2. EricJ Release Thread

EricJ Helicopter Pack RC146 - Added more features to the Ka-145, including formation lights and spotlight. Also adjusted the rotor protectors, now doesn't have the blades for operations on Pandora, as for the NATO/US SOAR, etc. aircraft have. - Removed the old geometries for the S-94 and S-94U, now looks correct (no missing geometries, looks better) - Added more features to the Ka-145. The Co-Pilot/WSO now can operate the helo from it's position, the optic view now works, and now has a laser designator added to the arsenal for designating for bombs or other things. - Landing gear on the Ka-145 properly animates as well as the Co-pilot Optic system - Black River PMC helos have standardized equipment for the helos (Orca,Cherokee). - Ka-145 is spwanable in Zeus - TF562 GMV is spawnable in Zeus
  3. I write books too

New book in the C Troop, 1-5 Kommando series is out! The border between the Independent Planets and the European Space Union is rife with pirates. The Prime Minister, sensing that the borders are open, sends the unit to a few anti-pirate strikes. Upon executing that mission, they encounter a mysterious ship that is assaulting the target that they are tasked to destroy. While they don't pursue it, they do attack and find more intel against the known pirate areas that the unit strikes. Books2Read: https://books2read.com/u/mvxr18 Amazon KDP: https://amzn.to/4bH6bSW
  4. We should give out some kind of award for stuff like this, sorta like a community thank you for such quality weapons. Nobody has done so well with this stuff. I'm sure have done good but wow, this is impressive.
  5. I'm getting the same problems too, sometimes it hangs, sometimes it doesn't work, so who knows what's going on.

  7. Never heard of them, but maybe somebody has one. Maybe
  8. Ahh nevermind, I'm sure one day somebody will do one here so it can be used by this community. Anyway unfortunately I don't have a rail for you. I have a 3ds Max (maybe) of an old LAU-127 dual rail adapter, but that's all I can do, and you'd have to make it yourself, etc.
  9. Thanks man but as of late I don' t play SF2 at all, I keep it around because I'm working on a project with Soulfreak and Co., but it's a phase of me not playing it for awhile since there's nothing new to do with it. I mainly play other games and such, keeps my interest, though I play a lot of Arma 3 though. I think SF2 will keep you busy since all of the aircraft and maps you can fly to keep busy with. Maybe you'll do more or some modding, that usually takes up time too, so that may be a good route. The only reason I play Arma 3 a lot is that I can mod that game, as I have enough software to help me edit the models and the like, so I stick with what I can do, while in SF2 I mainly do skins and such.
  10. I think we should wait for somebody with a Warthog stick to chime in that can help you, as I don't own a Warthog stick. I own a Thrustmaster Hotas One myself and it's plug and pray more or less. An aside I got depression though I'm managing it kinda well, so you're not the only one on here who's got mental issues.
  11. No update to the game unfortunately. I'm not sure and out on a limb but doesn't the Warthog have software of its own? If so have you tried that?
  12. Wouldn't you have to make a new Mig-23/27 for that to look right though? I mean it's cool looking, but I guess you can figure out a way to adapt it so it looks right.
  13. EricJ Release Thread

Right now nothing is being mostly worked on. I did setup the A/MH-15M for the ability to be slingloaded, so that'll show up next week. I had looked into a couple of A2 models that can be modified to look with the tilt-rotor/ducted fan system. Right now I don't have a good selection of models to work with, so I'll probably do those two. The tentative derivative of the Ka-52 is the "Ka-145" and not sure what to do with the Orca/Ka-60 that was in A2: OA, so it'll be easy to convert it and look okay. Both helos will probably be worked on next week, after RC144, which just has the Sling Load points for the two helos I mentioned. So far nothing else has come to mind and frankly taking it easy this week as well, I've been working on the helos since 2015, and sometimes I just need to let it sit for awhile and wait for user feedback and so on. Nothing else comes to mind for the other mods that I have worked on, they're pretty much set, though I am leaning to get the Barrett M468 textured. I got it configged so it'll come around when it will, and I can finally put that for users. Ammo and stuff is taken care of, and surprisingly 6.8mm ammo turned out equivalent to 5.56mm, so I'm a little disappointed in the outcome, or it's been so long that I didn't do the round justice. Whatever the case that works. Once the M468 gets textured I can work on the rest of the gun, getting it setup for A3 and so on. I might look forward to A4, but that's in 2027, not now. Again and any issues feel free to let me know and I'll see what I can do.
  14. I don't think Thirdwire has ever done a sale where they reduce the price for a bit (but I could be wrong too). I mean yeah why pay 160 when you can pay 100? It's definitely worth it though.
  15. Okay but I'm still against dogfighting in it, especially with the flight model in the game, which remains to be seen if I will fly it anyway in the future.
  16. Nice work. The Phantom has always had nice lines, but the maneuverability makes it only good for a bomb truck, rather than an interceptor in my opinion. But it has it's charms, and maybe I should fly it more, maybe.
  17. EricJ Release Thread

EricJ Helicopter Pack RC143 - MH-60S 2-pylon has correct scheme - Removed all EoTechs from the M134s, given that the miniguns are used for area suppression, and not point shooting. To aim without a crosshair use the tracers.
  18. I'd doubt North Atlantic, given the Navy focus, rather than USAF. I can't recall for the base game (it's been years and never flew the Phantom to know the difference), but maybe an E in the original? streakeagle would probably know,
  19. I write books too

After some thought, I decided to change the price of 5th Kommando: Destinations to 1.99 dollars. This has nothing to do with inflation, but the book is 50K words, and lower than the books that are like 100K+ words, which is still reasonable. Right now it's still .99cents: https://amzn.to/3CTPsPC
  20. You're asking the wrong guy, but if somebody had access to the files and could modify them... I think it's possible. Frankly as I said, nobody has modded the horizon distance, and never mentioned an intent to do so. So the answer is just you need to modify the code as a "safe" answer for your question. Unfortunately it's hard to get (impossible I would say as an opinion) to get a hold of TK and maybe fix that issue. Other than that what I've said is basically what I know, which isn't that much. But as you mentioned it could be a hard limit that the game has, given it's age. Only the Spaghetti Monster (Or God, if you believe in him) knows if TK will ever work on this game again to possibly address the issue.
  21. I don't recall anybody else asking this kind of question about that. Overall you can see "far enough" which is basically the range your virtual eye ball can see. So there may be a way, but I don't recall anybody messing with that at all, since like the game has been out. Of course I could be wrong, but everybody accepts the view as it is more or less. Then again there may be something in the Knowledge Base but I kinda doubt it.
