  1. A VAQ-140 pilot evades a SAM while conducting ad hoc Iron Hand missions east of Shindand, Afghanistan.
  2. There's no rule against using other sites, and Column5 is one of the better sites to get stuff from... Not sure on your problem, open the TIALD data file and look for Exported... if it's FALSE, change it to TRUE and it may show up.
  3. And working on the other versions (the non Growler) of the ALQ-99
  4. A Hungarian Air Force pilot fires at suspected insurgent positions in Northeastern Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
  5. I've added a Tunguska during an Afghan strike mission. Wasn't particularly exciting since I jammed it before I shot it with a Maverick. Also, the ME reads your aircraft's loadout.ini file, which is good since you can make theater specific loadouts (for use with that mission) rather than always having to mod the base one. Been having issues with AI strike missions, they tend to fly past the point in the same direction, something I'm missing or a bug?
  6. It's "inside" another mesh, so you'll have to move the insignia to the rear a bit. Haven't forgotten about the cat, just doing other things.
  7. http://562.50megs.com/562nd/Tutorials/GuidedWeapons.zip Extract and is Adobe PDF. I need to update it for moving targets but should help... Also Moofles find the TIALD 400 in the loadout screen, that's your Harrier specific laser pod. You can mount others but graphically it looks weird.
  8. Yup, so as said, my Afghan map install I only have the nations of Taliban and Afghanistan, so anything that the Taliban "nation" and Afghanistan uses during that period, would be used against me. However, I can also make some "What If" scenarios by designating for example, the Tor (SA-15) used by either the Tban or Afghanistan, and therefore would show up opposing me. Which is why I enjoy SF2 more, you have more options to do what you want.
  9. The game randomly selects what SAM depending what's available during that time period. You can go into the GroundObjects and remove the SAMs you don't want to make it easier. Which is why I like SF2. For example on my Afghan map I deal only with Stingers during my time period I like to fly (2010). 2001 and earlier I have to deal with SA-2s. Then again I modded my USERLIST so I only deal with the Stinger, and oh yeah, SA-7s on occasion, but never have to worry about that stuff.
  10. And thanks to ArturR, going to include his cockpit mod, and modded the targeting pod narrow FOV based off a video on YouTube. And thanks for the mention FC... I had mine G'd up that after trying it out was like "that's cool, I'll use that"
  11. Morning flight (first two pics) and Heading North.
  12. And not sure if the VFA-11 mascot is a new trend, but saw this on on a Oct 2010 photo on the CAG jet refuelling pod and an attempt at the tank name.
  13. Well... what are you taking off with? May just have to do the taxi thing until then...
  14. Yes, and you can upload that skin too :D
  15. And found an excellent resource site for the Growla, updating the VAQ-129 skin and the ALQ-99 pods:
  16. "We're Jamming, I hope you like Jamming too."
  17. I'm slowly updating the Super Hornet SF2 mod and working on the VF-2 OIF Tomcat skin, that's about it right now.
  18. Yes it has and it started happening to me after I posted it... getting tired of hitting the AB...
  19. The only way to get that effect is having the NetworkType=SA-6 but nothing like a coomprehensive IADS system. TK's games are pretty lite as far as AI is concerned, and don't get as in-depth.
  20. Thanks all! As svetlinnh pointed out, it's simply the F14B_96 with the targeting pod and LGBs/JDAMs.
