  1. I've only had enough energy to convert a couple things from ODS to SF2 standards, but since conversion is not too clear as far as the main effort (some even use SF2E default aircraft) is concerned. So I'll keep them handy but not too enthused about making a total effort.
  2. 1. Set up the missile as an EOGR, and it will work. Even though you have ground mapping radars in aircraft, target acquisition still shows in the MFD as a cross. Only you get the benefit of the radar targeting feature, and therefore locking on and engaging occurs at greater distances. For the rest... I'm guessing the features haven't been implemented like they need to be. I guess it confers some benefits, but overall haven't seen any on how they should work. May be actually where it's launched, but agreed, none of it seems to matter whether its checked or unchecked.
  3. How about reading the manual?
  4. Okay, unfortunately I don't decal the tanks, since I don't deal with much decalling. I'll ask FC to check it out. For the most part it hasn't been totally run through, since I don't decal, and nobody else, but we'll see about getting it fixed.
  5. Go in the appropriate campaign's Data.ini, until you find something like this: MissionChance[sWEEP]=90 MissionChance[CAP]=70 MissionChance[iNTERCEPT]=90 MissionChance[ESCORT]=90 MissionChance=0 MissionChance[CAS]=0 MissionChance[sEAD]=0 MissionChance[ARMED_RECON]=0 MissionChance[ANTI_SHIP]=0 MissionChance[RECON]=0 This is from one of the SF2E campaigns, but the format is the same. Find your preferred aircraft, and change the "MissionChance[CAP]=" to a higher number. The example above says that in that campaign, the particular aircraft will have a 70% chance of flying a CAP mission in the mission/role selection. Same thing for any other aircraft.
  6. Well, once i stop clearing, and can spend more time on gaming, I'll get around to it. Once I figure out all the stuff you're ahead of me on, I can probably do something about that, but not sure at the moment. I got alot of things on the mind right now, so the damage holes and bump mapping will be worked on, probably start later on the week.
  7. File Name: VFA-2 Bounty Hunters (Early) for SF2 File Submitter: EricJ File Submitted: 14 Jul 2009 File Updated: 08 Sep 2009 File Category: SF2 Series Add On Skins Simply reworked for the SF2 version of the F/A-18F Click here to download this file
  8. That's pretty much what the effect I was looking for, with FC's pic. It's not as pronounced on the real thing, so I think he beat me to to the punch on that one...
  9. Once I get more situated I'll touch up on that. I've already got a few ideas as far as what I want to touch.
  10. Also, if my mind serves me correct from the GRAW days, you don't necessarily have to make a new skin to get the effect. You simply need a transparent bump map overlaid on top of the main map.
  11. I'd like to help, but for continuity's sake, you may want to ask the original skinner, in my professional opinion though.
  12. I've got a Jastrzeb pattern MIG-29 collecting dust, maybe add it in?
  13. Since I'm bumming around, I can do some stuff. Terrain testing and the like would be my best stuff, unless there's some other stuff too.
  14. Going off mission with a skin request from ghostrider883:
  15. STORM - I'm using Feb 2010 patch, it uses alot of the HDR settings so I get crisper shots, FE2 should have the same stuff.
  16. Oh it's all good (except FC's comment... ) man, just that I wanted to make sure that I didn't get all the credit, that's all
  17. Thanks! Though I'd be a real douche bag if I didn't mention the other people that helped. I just did the skinning and a little data entry, the rest of the guys mentioned did the majority of work. I just upload it under my name
  18. I've been unoficially working on a mod that is adding targets to the vast area of the country for SF/SF2 and so far the most you need to do is figuring out target placement. Matter of fact, check your PM.
  19. Just a note for the American NW map, takeoff and landing positions are screwed. I know it's probably something that the patch did, as I know it hasn't been messed with for a couple airfields.
