  1. Did you try and do CTRL ALT DEL and go to Start Task Manager, then go to New Task.. and type in "explorer.exe" (without the quotations?) Sometimes explorer crashes and that happens
  2. It'd be cool if FC can do the tanks like the Super Hornet, be a nice touch... VFA-111 CAG heading for a strike mission in Afghanistan.
  3. He's thinking it's the newer MF one..
  4. Awesome shots Silverbolt, the top one especially
  5. Agreed, my specs aren't topnotch, and it runs quite fine. SF2 sometimes runs better than SF1..
  6. That's why I don't stick with the default button for the gun. Too many accidental discharges and that's what happens..
  7. It's right there at the top of the "Huddata.ini": TextFontName=Times New Roman TextSize=17
  8. http://www.turbosquid.com You can find everything you need there,
  9. Personally I like the old one myself suicidal, more emotive And X RAY, sometimes "moderator abuse" comes to mind when dealing with this bird
  10. Find the right pylon, and put "EOGR", and "LGR" to enable Mavs on the pylons. Here's the KB articles that can help too: http://forum.combatace.com/forum/192-basic-aircraft-modding-ini-skins-weapon-hardpoints/
  11. It should, as long as (don't quote me on this though...) the naming of the airfields is right. Not sure about campaigns, as I haven't even tried it yet.
  12. Well I can't wait to try this out, the stock terrain has been a bit barren...
  13. Desert Storm Mod, in the SF1 series Campaigns section of the Downloads
  14. Are you looking at the X? Or the Camera Pos? If its the former, then it will be off, "fly" to the place you want to put the object, and use the "CameraPos" to place your object. Most problems I have is just offset, but that is just orienting the x right.
  15. 1st part yes, it is done by the LOD file only.
  16. Gocad you are right, for the DT skins to match the aircraft skin, they have to be part of the model itself.
  17. To be honest with you FC, I may go the same route. With my video card issues, I'll just let the community handle it.
  18. I've only had enough energy to convert a couple things from ODS to SF2 standards, but since conversion is not too clear as far as the main effort (some even use SF2E default aircraft) is concerned. So I'll keep them handy but not too enthused about making a total effort.
  19. 1. Set up the missile as an EOGR, and it will work. Even though you have ground mapping radars in aircraft, target acquisition still shows in the MFD as a cross. Only you get the benefit of the radar targeting feature, and therefore locking on and engaging occurs at greater distances. For the rest... I'm guessing the features haven't been implemented like they need to be. I guess it confers some benefits, but overall haven't seen any on how they should work. May be actually where it's launched, but agreed, none of it seems to matter whether its checked or unchecked.
  20. How about reading the manual?
  21. Okay, unfortunately I don't decal the tanks, since I don't deal with much decalling. I'll ask FC to check it out. For the most part it hasn't been totally run through, since I don't decal, and nobody else, but we'll see about getting it fixed.
  22. Go in the appropriate campaign's Data.ini, until you find something like this: MissionChance[sWEEP]=90 MissionChance[CAP]=70 MissionChance[iNTERCEPT]=90 MissionChance[ESCORT]=90 MissionChance=0 MissionChance[CAS]=0 MissionChance[sEAD]=0 MissionChance[ARMED_RECON]=0 MissionChance[ANTI_SHIP]=0 MissionChance[RECON]=0 This is from one of the SF2E campaigns, but the format is the same. Find your preferred aircraft, and change the "MissionChance[CAP]=" to a higher number. The example above says that in that campaign, the particular aircraft will have a 70% chance of flying a CAP mission in the mission/role selection. Same thing for any other aircraft.
