  3. You have to copy the data from the readme, open the weapondata.ini remembering to keep the numbering in sequential order. Save the ini file, and open the weapons editor, then click on Save, and after its done, close the program. Open whatever game you're playing and it should show up.
  4. Let's not delve into politics.
  5. It'd be a good Asian campaign fo sho, though more like Vietnam vs. China...
  6. PM rusty_hawk and he may be able to do it for a fee.
  7. As far as in SF2? I've noticed it's for some reason trying to do the same, but methinks I know why. Open the missile in the Weapons Editor, and click on "Terminal Guidance" and "Target Memory". I noticed that when AI fires AIM-120s, and me, the weapons with this not checked tend to self-destruct at any nuance of enemy fighter movement (if it farts, turns, takes a smoke break, etc.). I can't test the theory right now but my AIM-120Ds are solid killas with AI use, so I've started to mod some missiles that way. It should alleviate the problem, hopefully...
  8. It's using AAA against infantry, proportionate force and all that. And I'm quite sure the Eagles fired 20mm, not a winder at the Fucik in Red Storm Rising.
  9. Nothing shows love like High Explosives
  10. That's making it more complex, it's best for the game engine to have the smoke pop for friendly position, especially for anything from the Vietnam War or sooner. I usually look at the map before committing to a bomb run in anything modern. What would be really nice would be functional NVGs so you can have strobes, but that's a bit much too...
  11. Nice, good thing I stayed with the previous patch, time to wait it out again...
  12. Agreed Dogzero1, but like USAFMTL said, that's an admin issue that I can't fix either. I figured it was just a cap on your status, that's all.
  13. So I'm taking it's safe to download? No issues with the patch?
  14. What I think he's saying, that using the "Fake Pilot" method is not workable in SF2 series. However, since messing with FastCargo's Eagle family, it works fine
  15. Which can also be changed depending on your membership. Naturally the higher the membership, the more you can download. CombatAce to me is the best resource for the Strike Fighters series, and even as a moderator I fork over money because it gives me downloads, and supports maintenance of the site. Basically a win-win situation for me and everybody who does join up.
  16. Thanks as always Wrench, and Baltika... I do agree, though I never made a map to save my life. I've wanted to, but it would be very nice to have a more powerful (and user friendly) map making tool. Then knuckleheads like me wouldn't be bugging people to make maps, I'd probably make a few...
  17. Looking good so far, so when I'm bombing the Frogs I can get a view of the tower on my run
  18. I'll save FastCargo the time, but while yes alot of us are in high anticipation of this aircraft (I'm a bit interested myself) but bobrock, among other people have things going on in Real Life so they can't always get to it. When bobrock has updates he'll post them.
  19. Well the ladder issue for your HUD is probably why if you're using FC's F-15 It's at the bottom of the page #30. The other reasons? got me man...

  21. I feel you though, sometimes you just have to find something else to keep you going. I'm probably not going back to LOMAC after awhile, I feel my time is done with it, unless they release modding tools, then I'd go back, but I've flown everything in that sim and I'll be good for awhile myself. But pending what things go on, I may get back into the skies. Sure TW sims don't have everything it has, but it's a good enough game to fire up and drop some bombs
  22. Hear hear. Adapting stuff is generally just copying and pasting. Tweaks here and there for sure, but overall? It's harder just finding the stuff to put the data into than actually doing it. If you don't know the real world values, use the default ones... I do. But I agree. It's a time to break off and do other things. I haven't lost interest as much as Super Dave and FC, but there's only so much you can do, and want to do before you need to look at a few other things as well in life. Well okay, once I make 180 hours on my pilot, I'll rest a bit
