  1. Yeah it's more of a generic placement, as opposed to offsets. So for "pre-done" setups like you posted it's great, but for exact placement I'd use the debug thingamajig... sorry for not being clear..
  2. If my mind serves me right the 3d model is in the downloads section from foxmonter who couldn't complete the project.
  3. You using SF2 or 1? Because I can load PL-8s fine... PL-8.7z
  4. Kreelin's Mission Designer can also get you the coordinates. Now it's not as fine as a tool as flying around but for a SAM site I've found it useful. Now that I finally know the debug command... I can maybe start adding stuff that I couldn't figure out from before.
  5. Well still... a Montana map (or equivalent) would be good for all times, not just the days of old. But you are right Sakai, a modern Blue vs. Blue scenario would be very bloody indeed, but I'm game for a new US map to work those ideas..
  6. I don't think it's possible, unless you only have specific aircraft and follow the LimitedNationsList for that country. That's one way of doing it. I used to have everything from Indian aircraft to Chinese aircraft. I edited the VietnamSEA_Nations (as well as others) and now have Aussie, USN/USMC/USAF/, and if my mind serves me right, RAF as well, and only NVietnam, so only those aircraft specified show up. And that's based on the UserList.ini of each plane.
  7. No it's not rivet counting, Messi probably got the distance wrong, and the fact is, Profi as far as I understand, is from Iraq. I've been around BIAP (Baghdad International Airport) and I could even tell you in 2004 that there were no oceans in Iraq. If my mind serves me right, there are lakes, but no oceans.
  8. The only problem is that we don't have a Midwest USA or Eastern USA map to work out these ideas. If I was a map builder I'd probably do something like that, but overall good theories..
  9. I have the default sensitivity and it works fine for me.
  10. Thanks but I'm not going to give it VFA-122 markings until I get some more references on the wings and top surfaces... but it's close enough for government work. Just got the major painting done, now to retweak the pattern..
  11. Beta tail markings (VFC-111 Sundowners) and closeup of right side markings.
  12. Some more work. Got some custom roundels that I'm particularly proud of, and more camo work. Unfortunately the VFA-122 photos are all that I have, as I would like to do that particular aircraft. But however.. since there's no good top views I'm going to just extrapolate and while I will base this one off that, I'll give it another squadron designation and markings.
  13. It's probably the targeted aircraft notching or beaming. Sometimes I get a good solid hit from a notch or beam hit, or sometimes I miss. It's not just you
  14. About time... More modern vehicles the better...
  15. Actually HrntFxr the E Hornet was exactly the ones I have... guesstimating time...
  16. Well as always man, much appreciated , but I may have those pics already... will check them out.. after I finish MW2
  17. Modern Warfare 2 Specs Released

I prefer the Vector with any sight, very controllable and yadda yadda, but the game is a blast man, so I grab anything...
  18. Yep and the SF2 package can be found here: http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?app=downloads&showfile=9401 SF1/WoX series here: http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?app=downloads&showcat=130 And thanks!
  19. STORM requested this months ago... and I'm sorry for a delayed response... but its been a bit since I dropped some paint... I've got four reference shots so far. I'd like to check out more if there's around, if somebody's Google-Fu is better than mine...
  20. It should mean that if it hasn't hit a target within 120 seconds, it should self detonate... I don't have Bunyap's manual handy, but that's a good enough guess.
  21. Le Missioneur AFAIK is compatible with SF2, as well as Kreelin's Mission Designer.
