  1. Oh yeah some minor sharpshoots: wheels are a bit thin, looked compressed on the x axis... and the pylons, if you need resources can definitely dig some up.

  3. Figuring out the x,y,z positions is easy, drag your cursor in max to the barrel position and input the data, least that's what I did for the Calliope and it works. Is it me or AAA only limited to four guns? while ships have more?   4. Yup I had bought a model, had a friend optimize it slightly, then suicidal has been itermittenly working on it. JAT81500 has a whole slew of things setup for it (ini, modded Gripen cockpit), just really need the model integrated and such.

  6. Have to create a Terrains folder in that area, then put the map files in there. So it'll look like this C:/My Documents/Thirdwire/SF2E/Terrains
  7. Well my modeler Razvan talked to one of his buddies and through trial and error we got it working, so not up to speed yet... still a slow process with Max...

  9. Actually the vehicle is 19K, and the shots above are proof it shows. Pureblue found some errors (it was like very small so it was there, just very small) after taking a look himself. My modeler adjusted it for the size of a BTR-70, and going by other shots roughly the miniature size (it's based off a miniature). So now is that the problem is getting it to recognize the texture maps, and my modeler isn't too familiar with the TW other than the exporter notes, so that's the next stumbling block.

  11. It's more lack of interest than curse, but it's just sometimes fun to explore game engines and see where you can go with it..
  12. If there is a file with a ".shd" extension, delete it. TW made more dynamic shadowing, whilst the .shd file in previous versions were shadow files for shadowing, which isn't needed anymore.

  14. Just checked them out in an Afghanistan mission, and not too shabby man, very nice so far
  15. And unstuck... and limited... unfortunately I think the game coding only allows for a max of four gun barrels... unfortunately I can't get the effect I want, but it's still neat nontheless.
  16. True enough, but the biggest concern is getting the barrels to elevate and depress... kinda stuck on that one.
