  3. Done up a skin for VAQ-129, which is the Fleet Replacement Squadron for the Growler. I had been confused (and thanks to Vampyre, straightened out) but it is an FRS squadron, Pacific. Also Jarhead, I'll go with Vampyre's PM and while the real world Growler doesn't have the weapons capability of the regular Hornets, we'll keep the ability to perform SEAD and DEAD missions, while it's setup for now for Armed Recon, Recon, and of course SEAD roles in WOX. Also a screenshot of JAT81500s work, with the nose showing the decals, while his beautiful textures applied to a VFA-105 SH. Right now that squadron, VFA-11, and VFA-32 have this applied. I'm hoping the other squadrons will be applied (would love to see CVW-8 myself..
  4. I got your PM Jarhead1 and sent a reply. Got JAT81500s new system for decals, which is applied directly to the texture. Believe you me, it's just as good as the screenshots above, with only (so far I noticed) the numbers decals, so they can change. I'll still get some pics later on. Also, as per the ALE-50, I've noticed a delay in a radar to lock on a target. Nothings confirmed but something I noticed earlier on, so we'll run tests to see how it works out, so we can get a benefit without having to do anything, and still have to get some confirmation on if my theory is right (unfortunately only one test) and once all involved gets more facts and observations solified, I'll let you all know.
  5. You can also set the Enemy Air Defenses to Light, which will show mainly AAA or "Weak" SAMs.

  9. Well as always man, it's FC's beautiful work. I've finally stopped travelling, back "home" and going to start back up. JAT81500 sent me some more minor work stuff, and added that this morning. As soon as I get settled down I'll pick it back up.
  10. Pretty much all craptastic and craptactular . Funny thing is that eventually I'm going to get a good Spad and actually try it out. Been kinda getting the itch, best one to download? And I just thought it would be a nice shot, worked out pretty well. And yes it would be a good TT system. The enemy who's firing the missile would be so amazed that it'd delay the shot to anybody's advantage, put some wings on it to stablize it and it'd be good to go Nice shots silverbolt, and the Darter, AIM-9X are my favorite IRMs. And nice Luftmoped, any time of a release?

Yeah but like is said a million times, and coming from a SH pilot in VFA-14, the Tomcat was a great plane but it's time, like other things, will come, just like the Super Hornet's down the road, but the decision was way beyond anybody's pay grade, and time moves on... I feel you though The Recession is finally hitting the US Navy, forcing them to test out the ol Toilet Bowl. (you can get nuts with this mod, add GPS homing, a laser guided version for those times you need to really crap on somebody)

  14. CVW-3 Madness by JAT81500, encompassing the squadrons on the Harry S. Truman, VFA-105, VFA-11, VFA-32, and VAQ-130 (What if, they haven't transitioned yet). And updated VFA-143. On another note, the aircraft are coming along, FC submitting the last 3D models, so it's only requiring tweaks here and there. Since I'm having large issues with uploading large files (but I can download like a mofo without issues, weird....) it's going to take me to another leg to start really getting things together, so once I'm set there, I can send it up to everybody and we can finally get the mod done, which.... realistically I'm looking at 90% completion. FC has some other thingies to add so it may delay (no real timetable really) things, but... it'll be worth it. And sorry JAT81500, I didn't add the intake details.. will be added!
  15. That does look impressive, but the TW sims hasn't been known for full modelling (to a certain point) to utilize that function, i.e. various submodes for avionics. I'm sure that blank spot is for weapons but that's just an ill-informed guess.
  16. Now that I remember.. yeah it is. I was trying to shoot down a couple Bears, and expended a good load of AMRAAMs on both. Finally got one with a winder, and one an AMRAAM in the No Escape Zone. It's pretty obvious that the Bear has more juice as I've gotten alot of kills with AMRAAMs when they were probably jamming, or just the loadouts don't mount them.
  17. 1. Is it possible to add more Expeditionary Airfields or are the two present historically correct? (as it had only two). 2. And is it possible to make the Expeditionary Airfield available to add to other maps? Like a standalone addon?
  18. Actually it's not a concern anymore, least with the Oct '08 patch. I added it to the Range map and it works as it should, so should be good to go now, just trying to find the texture for it.. Thanks Dave, and JSF_Aggie
  19. Well.... yes, no, maybe so on the changing of the sides. Kreelin's Mission Designer can turn Red into Blue, or vice versa, regardless of time period. Problem is that as Wrench pointed out, that there's enough SAMs that if you lined them up, you'd be able to walk across the Pacific to California without getting your feet wet, and to include the AAA. So you'd have to start the mission to where it's a need to escort, but not to where as soon as he takes off he's blown out of the sky.
  20. Oh I know how to do all that man... from working with the Highway Airfield mod. Just that not sure what textures are which... the Highway mod from JSF_Aggie is nice so I can just drop it in and add the necessary files and be set. You did answer the question about the citieslist.ini as I read Gepards tutorial, and never caught that part, but that's one further question I had
  21. None so far, if there was I'd be pretty mad and have to find some other place to get my eels. I would safely say the "cap" is how much strain the server is put on. So if you want to spend the next days just downloading the whole site then by gods man, do it!
