  1. Just gotta fix the "FF" on the right side, and would look better Not really TW games related... but this may help a bit. You're coming along don't get me wrong, but a few tweaks here and there.. http://562.50megs.com/LOMAC/Tutorials/LST.zip
  2. That's cool, family is always first Got the new models last night.. and looking nice, redid the ALE-50 as per the link below, as well it's not needed to be totally detailed. Got the new model stacks retextured.. as soon as I can get it uploaded I'll pass it around, but might be my time tonight or later as it's not being happy with me trying to upload at this time... Also another shot of the opening for the ALE-50, it's flush when retracted, opened up when deployed. JAT81500: Merci for the site! Yes the ALE-50 is a towed decoy system: http://www.raytheon.com/capabilities/products/ale50/ After that hopefully somebody other than FC can do the SHARP pod. I want it just like a regular pod that can be added rather than part of the model though... it's getting full up as it is....
  3. It would be nice, LOMAC modelled it as teh blips going all crazy on the HUD. Still though, if the AI actually used ECM then it'd be a good feature.
  4. mikepie11986: Just below the right tailplane. Out for a stroll at the Range.. (or column5 would put it, "Out for a metrosexual stroll" )
  5. U BETER RESPEKT SIRINX SHE IS A GODDESS GET IT RIGHT, K THANX BYE!!!!!!!!!!111
  6. True but a good case in point is LOMAC. More often than not, depending on the mission, I wouldn't need air refuelling either. However it was still there, as a fully fuelled Su-33 at low level could fly from Anapa to Sochi in about... 30 minutes, but I would have to land because I was at bingo fuel. Same concept, the scope of the maps is depending on the person making it, and the scope of the mission. Sure you can't get huge maps, but then again, that's up to the mapmaker to require air to air refuelling. Granted though, I can fly in the Black Sea map from the SW of Turkey to the middle of the country and be really bingo fuel at low level. Granted I can still make it on deck, but I'd be really bingo! So it's all depending on a lot of factors, but It's pretty difficult in WOV to go from like... Saigon to Hanoi and not needing refuelling. If you do Hi-Hi-Hi profile yeah, but sometimes you need to get in the trees. But it's just another option to make sometimes a boring mission eventful.
  7. True enough, what's the point of the "Help me I'm about to get smoked!" button when Red Crown comes back and says "Sorry boy, you're screwed!" At least an Alert flight would be nice, even if it was a Sopwith Camel with rusty, non-firing machine guns! At least it would be a distraction so you can boogie woogie out of there....
  8. I'm not sure about reducing the cost per se though, as it's really cheap, and the amount of work that has been put out by everybody could be very expensive addons if charged. But I agree, I'll gladly pay to have air-to-air refuelling added. I've rarely had the need to, but in some cases it would be a nice thing
  9. Works perfectly Erwin... now the last rivet to count will be the Sorbitsya's ride too high on the pylon. Move it down it should cover up the missile rail. Otherwise looking good!
  10. Got some ATFLIR detailing done, as well as started on the G wingtip pod detail, thanks to JAT81500 to pointing me to a site with some excellent reference shots.
  11. Nice post. And do like the idea of donations, since I've given out money for worthy causes. Sure the TW sims aren't the greatest... but if given the chance to donate to improve it.... I would wholeheartedly, as it is worth it!
  12. And this is an update screenie to my issue, will try the ini editing...
  13. It's cooties And gotcha man, I think in some cases it is overmodelled, so it's all good C5 , especially the Erwin_Hans model, but I'm not privy to actual data of course so as it is how it is..... Dave's just trying to instigate as usual
  14. Well blame FC then as it was his (or JAT81500 for that issue), but maybe but then again i was in the SoCal map.. he had some dead to right shots, and I wasn't trying to let him get me either, so I'm not even sure if I was jamming at the time, things kinda moved kinda quick (check PM for a synopsis I'm writing for a tutorial) and got tagged by AAA so if I was jamming I wasn't anymore..
  15. Tha's okay, even the Foxhound couldn't shoot me after a ten minute chase at low level in an F Supa Bug, so whatever..... and he had the height and weapon advantage (I was winchester missiles and he had a full load of R-27s and R-33s)
  16. Slight update on the Late Malay version. Just some touchups and additions. FC has reworked the Supers to having the grills on current aircraft (original model was Block 10 as I understand it). The Growler is also correct with the new grills, and will have pics when I can download it, as well.. my connection sucks...
  17. You know right? It's not like they "just noticed" me, the jokers were coming at me. I get the "He's firing a missile!" and thought it was a friendly flight, but no it was me... So I restart again, make it damn near the objective, and then got splashed by a Hornet. No love for the Russkies.... There's no sound for a lock tone so you really can't get a feel for if you're about to get shot down. Hell I got shot in the rear in the F-35 making a drop by a Flanker, wasn't anywhere nice...
  18. Dunno, I've flown a few Russian aircraft and before I even left the airfield I had four F-15D ACTIVEs greeting me with Sparrows... Nothing fair about that
  19. Probably didn't bite or didn't find it appealing. Strange he mentions the air refuelling bit about the USAF version.... I mean I've refuelled American, and Russian in LOMAC, and not so sure it was so "classified" but that's TK's call, if I understood his post right.
