  1. Actually I came up awhile ago with a more cheaper dual AMRAAM rack. I got the original max file as well (was saved in MAX9).
  2. hi i am new

Don't worry, I lurk more than I should I guess, but I keep busy myself, so welcome!

Using the Team KBT F/A-18E, this is an adaptation of my personal scheme for the E version. Texture only.
  5. This has been primarily my personal scheme, and on the VRS F/A-18E forums, I inadvertently got some requests for it, so what the hey, here's what I showed em:
  6. No you cannot, it's an AI thing since Flanker 2.51, and they haven't bothered since to "fix" that issue. You can always zoom all the way out the view.

This is a repaint of the original texture file that came with Team KBT's Super Hornet Package. Texture only for the F/A-18F.
  9. After a bit, I've decided to try and redo the "default" skin that comes with the Team KBT F/A-18F Super Hornet Note the weathering is all WIP though....
  10. Some more touchup, probably later on tonight I'll upload it.
  11. http://forum.lockon.ru/showthread.php?t=22446 That THAT out: These are mirrored on the topic but definitely worth checking out, at least for looks
  12. I had hoped to finish it yesterday, but I had a PT test and I was pretty much smoked so I did some small stuff anyways. I figure by Friday I can upload it and release it. Still a few more touchups to go and I can move on..
  13. Go to Lock On/Bazar/TempTextures folder. What may have happened is that you may have installed a modified "nomera.tga" file. If there's anything that has "nomera" in it as a filename, that's what controls the Russian Stars. Someone may have done a bad job. Try this file: http://562.50megs.com/LOMAC/Files/nomera2.zip I have to find a "virgin" nomera.tga file myself, so if that doesn't work, I'll see what I can do. Just unzip the file, and place it in the Lock On/Bazar/TempTextures directory.
  14. THanks, but the modelling yes, is great, and I haven't found a good third party virtual cockpit that outstrips this one yet... However, the main thing that's really annoyed me is the mapping. It's not as efficient as I would prefer, and still room for improvement, but hopefully in the future I can do something about that.. Looks like I have to reposition the texture lights, as you can see that it's off. That's what I get for turning off when the sim starts
  15. 1. Go to the NAV HUD (1) and extend the refuelling probe, and when you're in range, the HUD will automatically show the range and bubble to the tanker. 2. I've never had that issue, possible bug... 3. No, there is not much as far as comms, you use "~" key to cycle the baskets, and it'll automatically show the information on range and direction to the baskets. When looking at the IL-78M from your direction, 1 is the left one, 2 center, 3 right basket. 4. The "-" and "=" keys do that for you, the non-keypad ones, the ones to the right of 0.
  16. Thanks :) Now have to include the bombs and tanks: Regular profile:
  17. It's getting to the point where I'm finding little else to add, other than some notable fixes I need to do. So unless somebody has a burning request, within a couple days (or tonight really) I'm going to upload the file.
  18. I've seen a series about the MKI pilots, and the level of training is on par with US training, so to say that a MIG-21 could splash a SuperBug is just semantics, without looking at the capabilities. SuperBug: Newer, more reliable, and can carry a higher amount of weapons, vs. the MIG-21-93s, even with R-77s, can carry only two. The SH can carry up to twelve AMRAAMs. It can just do more, and far more maneuverable, and has improved close combat capabilities with the newer AIM-9X and JHMCS. The MIG just doesn't have the cockpit visibility, even when going up against the E SH. MIG-21-93: It's great because it's updated with Israeli electronics from Elbit, as well as other countries. That's it, it's updated. The concept has been around since the beginning of the Cold War. Even with wing tanks, the operational range is shorter, and the radar isn't on par with the Super Hornets. As said, it's old and still around because nobody can probably afford something like, the Gripen.
  19. I'd have to say, that the textures on these are just, smooth.
  20. If there's one thing I'll hate, is that efficiency was lost on the mapping. I'm trying for a currently deployed skin, so naturally, dirt and all that crap is supposed to be on it, but after an hour and a half, this is what I settled on for the nose area. The FM, modelling is of course great, but this is where it falls short, review enroute:
  21. Started on some weathering: And Panel line touchup:
