  1. Thanks, with Le Missioneur you have to select "Must take off from airfield" and select:
  2. New Combat Flight Sim!?

And still we wait for more, but I'm still sticking with LOMAC.
  3. Okay, slow down and re-explain it in a more slower, concise format, please.
  4. I just reinstalled Max 3.1 and I'm getting quite a long error string when I open 3DS Max up, and just wondering what could be the issue... Error I get attached...
  5. Well I did happen to have come across it after all... Apparently it was in the many zips he sent me. As you can see, it's crap, and just needed some more TLC from whoever made it. So I got the model from TurboSquid, and if there are some tutorials (it's MAX2, so I got MAX3.1) I could use, I'd like to know, or I'll PM the model I bought. SH.zip
  6. Somewhat disappointed

Maybe, but my source points towards BIS, they've been messing with it for a while, so only the future can tell.
  7. Somewhat disappointed

Yeah a good friend of mine said that Game 2 isn't finished yet. I figure given the track record so far, we'll be seeing ads for Game 4 before it works out.
  8. I'm just wondering where you can unzip an ".ipb" file...
  9. Why would you need more than three setting anyways?
  10. Sorry, I'm trying to takeoff from the carrier so I can learn how to trap in WoE.
  11. Yeah this is Typhoid's F-14D (that's what he named it) and so yeah it needs alot of additions that I can't add. And for the most part if the one in the works (supposedly) has the same mapping, or whatever, I'll transfer it to the appropriate model.
  12. Wha's killing these shots is the tanks, any way to fix this problem?
  13. lol USAFMTL, bite me xrearl: I agree, it's coming along good now, course I got a boatload of ref pics...
  14. More weathering and details. Funny thing is, I started to actually have more appreciation for my own work. The Tomcat just doesn't look right clean all the time:
  15. Well the only route I can possibly think of getting an SH in WoE is me biting down and buying a model at TurboSquid. Of course it requires asking for permission, but more than likely, it'd be okay, least I hope. It's quite a penny in .max format, but if there;s somebody who's willing to get it into WoE we can do that project I guess. Any takers? http://www.turbosquid.com/FullPreview/Index.cfm/ID/228791
  16. Yes they are, but the artwork via Google can be accessible by F-14D Lions Head artwork, so I just made the title via the artwork, not so much the unit, since this was an old paint scheme.
  17. Try the mirror link, I get the same issues myself...
  18. Hehe true enough, and with the much appreciated help of USAFMTL, I've got some more goodies to play around with to improve the skin, so in a few days I should have a better looking skin
  19. Well unfortunately I was mistaken, USAFMTL said that he thought he had it, but a search among his hard drives came up empty....
  20. Well looks like around the weekend I should have the SH in hand, as USAFMTL's condition isn't too great, but it's on one of a hundred disks and naturally he's got more better things to worry about. Long and short of it, hopefully this weekend I can get it and we go from there.
  21. Speaking of that Typhoid, where is the mapping on your Tomcats for the F-14D fuel tanks? I've been working on a skin (see below) and wondering if each seperate texture is mapped on the tanks. If so where?
  22. Well given some stuff I've seen, it shouldn't be too hard or complicated. Sure the SH is pretty advanced, but alot of high tech planes are limited by the engine. So anyways, I talked with USAFMTL last night about the SH and he's got one lying around somewhere, and hopefully he'll send it to me so I can at least have something. He said it was poorly done, and I brought up the idea on maybe letting the public rework it. Supposedly it's uncomplete or whatever, so when I get it and go through it, I'll post details and we can go from there.
