  2. To which I agree, but the thing is man, I'm personally just tired of it (Vietnam in particular), so it colors my opinion quite a bit. I've gotten more spoiled by the contemporary stuff, so I'm more apt to look at that than back then, which of course has alot of history, and in no way discounting, just that it's nice to see more modern stuff.
  3. My honest opinion is that Vietnam is over and done (been that way for... 30+ years?) with, was a blast for those who participated, but I think we gotta move on in life, and with planes. So I agree, I'm for new a/c, regardless of type.
  4. Yeah I saw a 3D model of the FRX-00 Mave at Turbosquid, so if you are doing it, that would be cool :D
  5. I sent him alot of reference pics that should help with the landing gear issue, so he's not short on reference pics by all means, so he should be good to go for the meantime :)

  7. It'd be nice for an F-18E/F. Still love the Tomcat but the Super Bug isn't bad looking at all :)
  8. Well you can make your own missions in the Mission Editor, and the F-15 is strictly air-to-air, and cannot use any kind of air-to-ground ordnance. You can use the gun in an A2G role but is very limited.

  11. If you look on the DVD, it may be on there already, under "manual" If not email me at flanker56(at)hotmail(dot)com and I'll send you the link to the one I have. And another thing bro, yes Flanker is a brick wall learning curve, but approach it this way. Learning something is knocking a brick out of that wall, brick by brick. Eventually one day something's gonna snap, and you're figuring stuff out left and right, it's a steep one at first, but after that it's all downhill.
  12. It may be the original .tga issue that is causing the problem. Try opening the files in Adobe Photoshop and resaving them. The problem I believe is the alpha channels are still active, even though it doesn't need it. I'd also try and get a hold of the mod makers too...
