  13. Young People today

The YOOF of today, are not really that much different to the YOOF of yesteryear, just perceptions have changed, there is a marked lack of discipline, and behaviour in some cases, but that is down to the world we live in, and the rebelliousness of YOOF, but lacking moral fibre ? err no, tell that to the young lads and lasses who have been in front line service in Iraq, and Afganistan, compare them to comparably aged teenagers/young adults who went to war in 1914-18....and 1939-45 I would say there is little or no difference at all. Yes I agree kids seem to be more worldly wise ( or so they think ) at an earlier age, and some of them you want to beat senseless with a large paving stone, repeatedly, for long periods, until they wind their damn necks in......but that is because they are little gits, and not due to any LMF related impediments. So yes you old fogey farts...shut yer damn faces, and remember when you were a young Teddy Boy, or a Mod , givin' it large in blackpool !! Of course I never did such a thing, I wasn't allowed to be a kid, my parents didn't agree with such nonsense, and then I joined up when I was 16, so I never really had a kidulthood.

  18. File Name: DHIMAR SABRE PACK File Submitter: trotski00 File Submitted: 03 April 2016 File Category: What If Hangar After seeing the effectiveness of the F-86F Sabres in the hands of the USAF over Korea, the Dhimaris made overtures to the Americans to buy F-86's, however as the Dhimaris had close ties with the UK, they eventually settled on buying the licence built Mk-4 which was in use at the time by the Canadian and British Air forces, they eventually purchased MK-4 airframes for the Ground attack/interdiction role, and later on the MK-6 for a pure fighter /interceptor . They foung the engine and avionics fits , were more suitable for Dhimari needs, and used these aircraft until the early 60's with great success. Click here to download this file

  24. I dunno they managed to keep the remaining F-14's going for a good long time without any spares, of course, this is a smoke and mirrors exercise, and I think it was more likely to be aimed at their own population, rather than the world at large......they have trundled out some really strange and pretty ridiculous stuff in the past, some of their military vehicles for example.
