I've glanced at what you provided and will come back later to give a good read. I hope they can do something in the event people are spoofing numbers and if they can I'll gladly call them.

A solar powered clothes dryer. I'd hate to clothesline you but you asked for it.

That and or imgur. Upload to your own profile, select share to message board link and presto. But like Wrench said and I agree with too is to upload with CA, you can upload a lot of screenshots at once too and free of charge. -
Okay because that had me wondering about the warm beer part. I don't drink it myself and even I know warm beer is a no no..

That would be funny as hell to see. If everyone just stopped using the internet for a month. Look at how much paper will be generated for bills again, look at how much money ISPs will loose!

So I was talking to this nice lady at my city's code enforcement office. A lot of us small business people deal with her regularly. I tell her and she tells the others, and I'll give it about 2-3 hours and hopefully there will a decent chunk of a small town in central Arkansas getting pissed off.

Link to story A KC-130, a refueling tanker, crashed into a rural field in the Mississippi Delta. The reason for the mishap is unknown. 15 Marines dead along with 1 Navy Corpsman. Link to Bing Video of crash. Looking at the vegetation around it, it looks like is just crashed straight into the ground. As in I can't see where they did a wheels up landing.

I thought there was some sort of law established back in the 60s that prohibits a nation from taking a celestial body for militaristic proposes etc etc. I also remember something that was proposed during the height of the shuttle program. They mockingly dubbed it Star Wars. Shuttles were to employ munitions from space to blow up targets on Earth. Original shuttle designs were also to include weapons as well. So with other nations wanting to go to space it doesn't surprise me to see this being talked about. After all he who has the high ground wins right? Can't get any higher than space. I wonder if I can work on my Star Sniper story now that that is out...

So I've been a fan of flight sims for a long time. Like Top Gun NES (yes I know it doesn't count) and Super Strike Eagle (SNES ... again I know it doesn't count) have been my favorite games. Until I bumped into Jet Fighter 3 and then picked up Strike Fighters Wings Over Europe and Vietnam (From Big Lots .. yeah they had disks in a box... remember those days? Anyone?) I also go Flanker 2.5 from Hastings (it used to be a video store) So here I have DCS A-10 and DCS Huey, Flight Simulator X, and SF2:NA, Europe ... and yet I have the strange craving to find ye olde DOS Jet Fighter 3, or Super Strike Eagle. Those games with those crappy graphics and settings. I mean I just really want to hunt them down, download them, and fire them up. What the hell is wrong with me? I now have the sims I dreamed of using back in the day and now I want to go back to the old school graphics and things? Don't tell me I'm having a mid life crisis ...

Oh and how DOS games made you feel bad for leaving them. Well a couple of them anyway. I remember seeing a prompt that would read :Action too much? Do you wanna stay and fight or do you want to run back to Windows where it's nice and safe.

CombatACE Interview with Peter Adamcik Since 1972 the Soviet Air Force, it's successors, and many other nations have operated a unique attack helicopter. The Mi-24 Hind, or the Flying Tank. Other nations have employed the Mi-25 and Mi-35 variants of the attack helicopter, capable of delivering eight fully armed troops into battle. This 55ft 9in (17.0m) long helicopter has seen action in numerous conflicts and thanks to efforts of Peter Adamcik, it could soon see action in digital fields of battle that will take place on PC or XBox One. Peter Adamcik is the founder of the indie game developer 3Division Entertainment. He's a programmer and game designer, who sometimes enjoys creating some graphics. He hails from Slovakia and today he's agreed to do an interview with CombatACE about their game Air Missions: Hind. Please note that our quest answered our questions in his language and had Google translate to put them in English. Because of this some answers may not flow very well. I did my best to interpret what Mr. Adamcik was saying while keeping his answers original as possible. Thank you for taking the time to do an interview with us. To get started, could you tell us what motivated you to enter the gaming industry? The passion from creating the games. I have been programming games since high school. Plane Arcade was one of the games [i made] from that period. Then after high school I was able to jump into game development as a professional with my own project (Air Conflicts back in 2006) A lot of games these days focus on RPG or FPS elements. What inspired you to develop Air Missions: Hind? The main reason was simply that it should be the first project out of my studio without any publisher or partner company (almost all previous projects had some publishing or dev partner), so I need something that I know, I can handle. Since I have a lot of skills with creating action airplane games, I decided on helicopters because it is different, while technically, and in terms of gameplay still similar to airplanes. Also I see the flight sim genre as a good way of using my own/custom 3D engine - I think it is still easier to make FPS on 3rd party engines like Unity or Unreal than the flight sim. Of all the combat helicopters in various Armed Forces around the world. Why did you and your team settle on the Hind? Simply because I like it and it's a beautiful multi-functional aircraft, also I played alot Hind 1996 as a child. Nice thing about being an independent developer, you can develop because you just like :-). Also I believe there are still a lot of people with the passion for this helicopter too. What were some the challenges you and your team encountered during development, and how were those challenges overcome? I must say there was no big issues luckily, but I see the missing realistic control mode (something based on real physics) as a failure. This is something really missing from the game, I just could not find a programmer who could add it into the game, or it would've be too expensive to do with no guarantees of the results. But there are more control modes; for casual players, then for those who want a slightly more realistic mode, and then another that is a bit more realistic. Some players are saying the modes are realistic enough, even they are not based on physics. What are some of the features that will make Air Missions: Hind be unique when compared to similar games? I think because it is a helicopter simulator, there aren't a lot of helicopter games that were released in last couple of years. Also I think unique because the focus is on eastern helicopters and finally, I think not a lot of games have a side of classic MP modes and the online co-op mode. Also there is a mission editor (100% without scripting) you can create then publish your mission to be available for other players. Missions from made in the editor can also be played in co-op mode! Also your readers may be interested to know that there is support for three input devices (flightstick, throttle, pedals), there is also custom mapping and TrackIR support. Yes all I mentioned is supported! Speaking of features, which was the most difficult feature to create for the game and why? The editor was the most difficult, it took a lot of effort to get it done. The same can be said for the Co-op feature because it wasn't easy to do either! :-) What can players, who enjoy flight simulators, expect from Air Missions: Hind? The game is a mix between arcade and simulator, I saw that some hardcore simulator players are really enjoying it, while some of them do not; not sure about ratio, so just try it and you will see! :-) Depending on the success of your game, what other projects are you planning to release in the future? Right now if I count my first flying game - Plane Arcade, it's been about 12-13 years since I started making flying games. So I decided that the next project will not be a flying game, sorry guys!.The next game will be a tycoon-like strategy - you can check out the video here of it's alpha stage. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KIkRXZv7tYU , More videos will come over time, it's still an unannounced project. It should be officially announced this year. But speaking of next flying project, I considered a project with MIGs, but right now I decided to do the tycoon project. I think maybe one day I will come back and make [the MIG] project! When do you plan to release Air Missions: Hind and on what platforms will it be available on? If it's on PC can the game be modded? The game is available now on PC and Xbox One - I think this will be the first aircraft simulator on Xbox One? Correct me if I'm wrong (I'm not counting the games where you can fly in them, because they are not primarily about flying) Thank you Mr. Adamcik for taking the time to tell us about your game! For those interested in learning more about Air Missions: Hind or 3 Division Entertainment, we invite you to visit the links below. Thank you for checking out this interview!

That tried that in Fallout 4 too. When I'm sneaking you'll hear people say "Did you hear that? No you're just hearing stuff" or when kill someone they shout "No they killed him!" Or insult you. "It's called accuracy rookie!" That's when I hit them with a grenade. But they don't try to flank you. I remember playing Fallout 2, where it would tell how much damage you inflicted on people in a window. I walked into a room with about ten to fifteen people in it and laid waste to it. I just happen to catch the message. Kenny was hit critically with 400 damage and died. You killed Kenny you bastard! Anyway that's make a lot of sense what you said. Cannon fodder is easy to program

I just saw the preview. Looks very interesting to me. What about you? Based on your experience with seeing movies like this from these studios, do you think it will be good?

Yeah Star Fox ll that was news to me too. SNES was gone for me a long time ago. I still like that system too. Super Mario World was loaned to me by a friend. He tells me that I wasn't good enough to beat the second secret level/world. Because he and his friend who were better than me couldn't beat it. How about I beat the crap out of all the secret levels. Then told him kiss my foot.

This is the the police! You're all under arres uh your door fell down let me fix it for you.

You're right. That exactly what it is. Jet Fighter 3 you had emails from people. "Oh man you get to fly the new F-22! What's that like?" things like that. Star Lancer you started off as a junior officer in tiny quarters that had a busted door that wouldn't close all the way. But then towards the end of the game you would get plush quarters (though still small compared to your old ones...that space was a mansion). You got interact with your world, be in that world, and go on your adventure. When you got done with the mission you could interact with your squadron, learn some tips. Learn about them (I forgot what game that was it was on SNES though). That's it. Everything looks pretty and that's all there is to it. Yeah flight sims are doing things that we wished but like they say beware what you wish for. We got the graphics and sound and the price to pay was all those other little things that made games and sims what they were. And I love *sarcasm* how every game tries to include those selling elements from other games but do it with their own spin. I.e This game zombies, this game ghouls, this other game has husks. All three of things are mindless humanoids that are severely decayed. But one is the undead, the other is a highly irradiated human being, and the last one is product of some scientific crap that does something with adrenaline and is the process of aliens. Bonus points if you know the 3 games I just mentioned. But then let's face it. With people's attention span these days getting shorter and shorter. Do you think the elements of old could work in this day and age? Honestly, I think it could because now it would be something "new" to pups getting into gaming. They may very well love being in an environment designed not mainly be a multiplayer game or MMO or whatever but a personal world they can explore, have fun in, and be a part of.

Now I better understand the situation. On one hand you have a crew that wasn't aware at all until after the fact. And on the other hand you have a highly trained crew with better equipment that should've known anyway.

Stupid questions here: This thread has been very informative and I'm learning a lot. Okay so you're saying the Fitzgerald had a faulty watch. Okay. But didn't the cargo ship have no watch? Weren't they all asleep? I thought someone had to keep watch at all times and being asleep brought hefty fines, etc. Like I said stupid questions. If I missed something I'll gladly re-read it to better educate myself.

Whoa. That was intense. Towards the end I kept thinking ... this would make a damn good movie and DCS module. Screw the movie; Holly-weird would just PC rape the hell out it and screw it up.

You're the only one who mentioned the guitar. I saw that too and was wondering why people on the thread I saw this on didn't say anything.
