I recall from my childhood seeing a friend "walking" her great dane (from a distance ole wolf looked like a horse). One week they were "walking" the dog as in they were getting yanked around all over the place (dragged around if they stopped to talk) the next week they got smart and put some roller blades on. Very adorable. I'm thinking to myself "puts a new spin on big baby." and then I started feeling sorry for the little dog because now it's going to think it's this awesome canine that's invisible ...

Oh so while they're training for an operation they get a little goof off time. Cool.

Hear Hear (I'd drink to that ... but I'm all out of drink) Edit: Just found some more!

But with helicopters added it's like the Cool Whhhhip on Top.

Here's some good slight of hand for Paris. Shim Lim fooled Penn and Teller and now has a message ... if anyone knows how he does it PM me. I'm curious to know. Dude is good.
-
You should've seen his Penn and Teller appearance. Very dramatic. He got busted by Penn on a few things though but still won.

You did an amazing job with the sound effects. Awesome job!

That's nice to know. I was wondering about things like after affects (I don't like paying high price subscriptions which keeps me from wanting to get it). When I upgrade my computer I will be getting better video editing software. I will put this plug here for Audacity if you don't have it or know about it. I'd suggest getting it. It works wonders for your audio work. Open source, free, and a huge support forum. But my hold computer can only run Windows Movie Maker. I'm dying to get some better software soon. Thank you for asking that question because I've wanting to know that for a while know. But let me ask this. If Lightworks only allows 720p as max output. Could it be possible to use a video converting program to get the output to be 1080p?

HA! That was cool. I just wonder how the conversation might go down when getting permission to do things like that ...

So I'm getting on CombatACE after a LONG day of work. I'm ready to pass out right now. I'm looking at all the Changes Erik made to the site's banner. Awesome changes. I'm staring at a flag and part of the national anthem. And for about a minute I'm waiting for jets to fly over ... I ask you... What the hell is wrong with me? Oh yeah, I'm laughing at myself.

I'm either very tired or a complete idiot or maybe both...

Wow. That is a long day. Heads up! If you get a dent in your Christmas tree ... my bad. Only if you're somewhere in the Southern part of the USA if not then well someone else was making use of what is called the "leverage transfer". -
Isn't it though! I wish I could just hire a camera team and have them shoot ... hey I know a guy with his own film company ... hold that thought.

Fighter Pilots talking about intercepting planes during 9-11
Skyviper posted a topic in Military and General Aviation
Hey I found more videos of Jetstream and during the opening five minutes there are some fighter pilots telling their accounts of being scrambled to intercept airliners during 9-11. I figured some of you may be interested to hear those accounts. Keep in mind it's the first five minutes that may interest you ... but I'm assuming the other 40 minutes may interest you as well too. Students learning how to intercept bogies. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ecWzu2zdRbQ -

That is the most chilling thing I've ever heard. And like Tyhpoid said no expected this to be real. All the people asking if this is Real World even one person said never had so much "real world" stuff in an exercise. The one lady even seemed to take this as an exercise. -

Wow. I heard that day Air Traffic Controllers did a great job doing the impossible getting planes to land in the amount of time they did. -

FC, Ohh. I gotcha. Because there would be parked planes there ... out of curiosity as I study the diagram more. I'm wondering what's the penalty box? Is that for suspicious aircraft or something? -
Sheez man. When it rains it pours huh? RIP and may France have a break ... Edit: Nice avatar by the way.

F-18 Flight Training Landing in Civilian Airport (LAX)

Thank you FC and Typhoid for taking the time to answer my question. I can see how that makes sense to get everyone grouped up so they can punch through a storm. Now about those taxi instructions ... I decided to have a little fun and attempt to make sense out of the map (this is of course assuming like you mentioned FC there aren't any other obstacles in the way. So if I understand those instructions correctly .... Roper is a slight pervert, so you take a taxi with Victor, you cross 12th street, and meet your Papa and grab some Whiskey and talk to a Yankee about the Yankees and then you hold up a short Mike... Okay seriously this is what I got. And just wow. Wow. I mean ... wow. -

Thank you! Whoa ... talk from the frying pan into the fire! Hey I wanted to ask this somewhere here on this site (But since you're a flight officer I'll ask here) there was another clip featuring these same students learning how to fly close to each other (Looked as if they were practicing to be Blue Angles). So why must pilots learn to fly that close to each other? Is it so they can mask numbers on radar or something? There was a part where one had to fly so close the exhaust from the lead plane was rattling his. -

I did some more digging and apparently this show got cancelled ... I wish I had the money I'd bring it back and make it a CombatACE exclusive ... I think it's cool myself. I do think it's messed up though that 1) They couldn't go to another military base and 2) They had no priority ... but it's a busy airport so I can understand why. Just sayin -
Seeing things like that just remind me how small we are...
