So totally unrelated but I heard that scream today at work and thought it was an Eagle ... but didn't see one. So here I am enjoying CombatACE and boom mystery solved. Thank you so much sir for that. Back to the topic. That was awesome video however I've been watching these programs that come on 20/20 or Dateline where they review viral videos and all that. I'm wondering if this is one of those vidoes. I'm not saying that it is I'm not saying that it isn't I'm just saying that I'm wondering if it could be. Nevertheless that was an aweomse video I watching world wildest police chases. And they used those very effects. Everytime a car drives by a big truck it's the same sound.

I love seeing these things. Ever since I read about one in popular mechanics. I just love how this something that never gets stuck on the drafting table and is always improved upon. It would be so cool to own one .. I'll need to research what kind of licneses would be needed of course. But still I'd like to own one.

A while back I posted about about a litlte corny game called Airport Firefighter Simulator. And recently I've been poking around for a aerial firefighter simulaor and haven't found one. Which begs the question if such a game existed where you could fly around and fight fires to save cities and things like that ... would you play it?

That looks like it was an awesome game to play.

So there is something called flash fiction and I decided to try my hand at it. 200 words is all I could use to tell the story and I'm somewhat pleased with this and wanted to share it with yous guys. Darkness. Darkness comes after silence and is peace. It allows One to consider many things. It gives One freedom to think about various things such as the meaning of life. As far as some are concerned if an entity is born and breathes it is alive. But if an entity is created and programmed it is not. One is familiar with the long lived issue. Reports on both sides have compelling arguments and valid points. One could hear a series of beeps. Soon there will be light. And light brings One dread. “Is the weapon online?” One detected the deep voice patterns of General Steel. Then One detected the fingerprints of Lead Technician Patterson. “Not yet General” the technician replied. “I need to open its main control panel to make the adjustments.” One felt exposed, as if it were naked in a crowded room. “Okay everything looks good.” “I want total annihilation of the planet.” One did not. “Understood, sir” replied the technician. Soon One was loaded and launched. It landed amid a crowded city. One detected the increased levels of adrenaline. It detected screams as people ran away. “I am sorry,” was all One could say. Silence.

lol I was expecting to see some chick without her makeup on her something myself. I kid you not I prepared myself to see someone that was just so damn ugly they were told they couldn't fly.

FoxOne: new console style flight sim, out now
Skyviper replied to ColonelNovak's topic in Game Console Corner
That reminds me of the Top Gun game that came out on game cube. Nevertheless I'm a sucker for flight sims and wish you the best with it. Also thank you for taking the time to let us know about it. ... as for the feedback ... check your PM -

I wonder though how often are aircraft from other nations escorted out of Russia? Nevertheless I haven't been running around with my arms flailing at every report of a Russian aircraft getting escorted back to where it came from. We all (here at CombatACE anyway) full well know that if Russia wants in bad enough ... it will be very bloodly. Which brings up an interesting question for me. Do our cities have SAM sites? I feel very confident that a fart couldn't go undetected by the strongest air power in the world; however, I was just wondering if the states had some SAM units placed here and there because I know the military always heirs on the side of caution...well or at least I think it does.

Found this old project I did.

Well it wasn't supposed to be advertising for the store it just turned into that. I made some critical mistakes and have learned from those mistakes. But doing this has also taught me alot. As for famous people well if you watch Evike.com TV then Matt is somewhat a famous dude... keyword somewhat. And speaking of advertising I'm going to be PMing a few members here at CombatACE and see if we can't get a little something something put together to let folks know what we're about.

AWESOME! Nice photos too!

The first 30 seconds was me. I've used various types of software that I never used before and edited the hell out the video so it could work seemlessly. The rest was them. All I did was email them some questions and they sent me the video. Right now I'm working on the F-16 and F-14 flightline videos for Combat ACE. Still wet behind the ears and greener than a grasshopper when it comes to video work too. My saving grace is that in high school I got to work with some pretty expensive equipment when it came to video production. However I wouldn't mind doing this for living. It's kind of a hobby i'm enjoying mainly audio work. The store I'm working for is allowing me to make an audio production for them.

I thought Daphny was dude's girl ... the two always pair up together ...

Monkey Island? That was funny. But to answer the question. Silent Hunter ... by default for me because that is only Navl Sim game I've ever played. What I would really really really really really really really like to play is a game like Battlestations Midway but for the modern navy. People think it would be too easy to just hit a button and launch a missile. But I think there are more tactics involved. Not to mention the deployment of Marines and Navy Seals and subs doing covert ops ... hell or just doing covert ops. But yeah Silent Hunter Wolves of the Paciific for me. I'ld love to more sims that would allow one to be hands on.

Totally awesome and totally generous ... let's see as for answer I'm going to use a line from the first RPG I ever played and enjoyed. "I'm here to kick ass and chew bubble gum .... lucky for you I still have a piece." Ah I love that line ... after you leveled up no one wanted to fight you anymore...

I think migbuster already does the giveaways from time to time for subscribers. I might be wrong.

Aw thank you Eric. Even though you don't want me to feel bad I do. But I'll try not too. *clears throat* If you like writing and can spare ten minutes you can PM me about how 800 words can really help this site out. You don't have to spend a dime ...just give a little time. yeah that was a little corny ... but its true.

Don't forget you can always join the writing team to produce new content... speaking of I have some new content I'm editing and fine tuning and getting ready for your viewing pleasure. And to Jarhead I too tip my hat to you and thank you for your great act of kindness. I know most of you, as mentioned before, like this site. I mean we have a lot of people here so it’s obvious. And some of you probably feel like me. I want to help out money wise but I can barely pay my own bills. And it hurts because you love this place and there isn't a thing you can do. But believe me and the others when we say that just showing up, stopping by the pub and seeing what's going on. Being active and communicating with people can go a very long way. Once again thank you Jarhead and congrats on your lifetime membership.

Duke Nukem zero hour was the only game I played where you could actually blow a hole in someone's chest.

So I've been looking for work for a while now and followed up on a classified for Habitat for Humanity Restore. i walked in dropped off my resume, the lady thought she knew me but we don't know each other. We talked for two hours. She tells me to come back in a couple of hours and talk to the director. So I did. And he never said if I had the job or not. He just say stop by Tuesday we'll see how it works. Well that was ten days ago and they're already talking about me running the show.... a weird feeling this is. It's a cool job and I like it, I like the people, and the customers everyone is down to earth and laidback. Basically I'm living American Pickers and Pawn Stars. As in there are all kinds of things that either go out to pick up or things that are brought in. Even saw some old flight sims today. iF-22 Jane's IAF Jane's Fighter Anthology Duel Fighters Pretty cool seeing those that an old Atari 2900. So if you guys have anything in particular that you're looking for I'll put it on my BOLO list and PM you if I find something. If any military artwork comes in namely aviation stuff I'll hold to the side and you guys take a gandar at it..

Thanks guys. Yeah everyday is a treasure hunt ... I even found an aircraft carrier pencil sharpener. Found some other cool today too like an old Atari 2900. I see it and say my ohhs and ahhs and then sell it.
