I was ...talking to ..Scott. (he was the one who made the thread) . Usually when someone wants to address to a... specific person in the thread, it uses the...quote of that person. If the quote it's not used, one can understand that 1) he/she is letting know people about his/hers opinion about the matter in discussion or 2) is addressing directly to the one who made the thread.

After 24 hours the race is tight, very tight. Almost 50 members voted in 24 hours. AIDC F-CK-1 Ching - Kuo (I guess STRAHI is happy for the time being) is in front with 11 votes (23.4%). Very interesting race... PS - An open bet would've been great LOOL

I think you missunderstood my message. One of our colleagues, GKABS, thought that YOUR reply was rude. I said, that IN MY OPINION, it was not rudeness, it was , perhaps, just a bad choice of words, long story short. That's all there is. I didn't imply anything else, the rest is just YOUR imagination. Somehow, I exonerated you of...the presumely accusation made and you are implying that I said something that put you in a wrong spot, young man ? :D I suggest you to..THINK it...again.

Short answer: NO. Use instead Windows 7, it works well with SF1 series or you could skip the whole thing and get into SF2 series. SF2 series has real new features you won't see in Sf1 series, including A.I., graphics and more.

Keep in mind that SF1 series + Windows 10 = not a good match. Windows 10 doesn't like much this game engine. However SF1 series works well with Windows 7. That is the reason I had to...left my first LOVE, SF1 series ;)

Ok, so this how I thought the matter in the end. Caribou which is a cargo plane, had to go this time. SO JUST ONE PLANE WILL BE CHOSEN IN THE END from the whole bunch. Knowing that, my advice to you is to avoid voting in more than one category, but if you do, the same, there's no harm done. :) Also I decided vote to be open for two whole weeks, I will specify that in the poll title with a specific deadline day.

I've got word from Wrench and it's not good news. It seems that applet can't be changed to support more lines, so...if , by tomorrow, I don't hear a better solution , we will adapt Cliff's idea and make it work somehow. More about that tomorrow.

I've been there if it's what I think it is. If you have a modded plane (even if just its skin is changed) and the plane HAS the default one (stock) NAME , game will write over it after a time (it will rewrite the default files in all the folder and delete what you had there, made by you). If that's the case this is the workaround which worked for me: CHANGE the name of the plane and the default one leave it alone, forget about it for good. Example: Shahak (default name of the folder) first copy it and then change its name to something similar (Shahak_V1 or whatever), then change accordingly everything that must be changed as syntax in its folder's interior., presumely you know your way around making some "beginner's level" modding. There is another workaround but you have to know a thing or two about modding (modding advance level). Change the LOD of the plane so this way, the plane will be ...different and the default routine won't interfere with it. In example I gave you above, I have two Shahak 3D model and i changed the LOD for the default one, and the default LOD I copied over the Shahak_71 one. I've never been bothered ever since by that oddity.

I think what he meant is that, for him, the myriads of aircraft already in download section are enough. About the dreaming I think he meant that one can dream what aircraft would like to see built. I don't think he wanted to be rude. He just didn't choose the right words to express himself.

A wise proposition nonetheless, BUT, sorry (sponsor privilege) , these chapters won't be included: Missiles/Transport/Sea planes (except CL-215). The list is already long as it is. Also, entries made previous this discussion, won't make it to the list for the same reason. If your model/idea is backed up by a majority of community, we will try it, unless anyone else find a better solution. I already asked Erik , through our esteemed admin, Wrench, to explore the posibility to extend to 35-40 the applet load. I am still wating for an answer on this matter.

Taking into consideration these apocaliptic scenarios, it would've been easier to say...99,99% , which, of course is no 100%
