I can see that working for the animation, but I'm not sure if any aerodynamics could be attached to it. Would be interesting to try though.

Then your flaps would activate along with the wing sweep.

That might work but there would be no aerodynamic effect.

Updated to version 1.1 to fix a small LOD problem.

Updated skins for the USN squadrons, and the Sidewinder rails are fixed. Other misc fixes probably that I can't think of right now.

Fun Javelin fact #1: If you want to fly it realistically, don't engage the afterburners below 20,000 ft. The real plane's fuel pumps could not supply both the engines and afterburner with adequate fuel below that altitude, and so engaging AB actually caused a reduction in thrust over dry power. As the engines became more efficient at higher altitudes, the pumps were able to "catch up" and AB became useful. I wasn't able to model that in the game, but you can simulate it yourselves if you like. ;)

The Panther was released so long ago it may not have a carrier-compatable tailhook. Check the Cougar--it may have the right tailhook data.
