  1. The KC-30A, easily the finest Kulti-Kole Kanker/Kransport flying anywhere in the world. (Apologies for another link nicked, but I can't figure out which HD I've hidden my personal screenies on this new rig).
  2. C is for cookie, that's good enough for me...
  3. It was possible, it required very specific editing and was super finicky to get to work, but it could be done in the long, long ago times. Around a decade ago (maybe longer), from what I can remember, it was possible to set a positive fuel state with a specific throttle setting by editing the fuel consumption setting for the engines in an aircraft's ini file. There are others more adept than myself who could explain how it worked, but it's a moot point because TK patched it out around 2011/12ish, possibly earlier. I can't remember if it was something that was carried over to the SF2 series, but I know for it was possible in the first generation series because there were some Yankee Air Pirates missions that included it... ...I think. I mean, it was a long-ass time ago and I can barely remember sh*t I did yesterday. Either way, if IFR is something you're looking for, you'll have to look somewhere other than the SF series.
  4. 'Was', being the operative word there. That was their intention until they changed their minds back in 2019 or whenever it was.
  5. Oh wow, this brings back memories. I was kinda partial to this bad boy and it's 16 pickles myself. I was a mud mover from an early age. Pretty sure I dug up parts of the Skyhawk I had in my folks garden earlier in the Summer.
  6. Holy crap dude, do you even sleep???? Thank you for these fantastic aircraft!! ♥️
  7. Oh yeah, I know ADF Serials, actually I'm kind of surprised there isn't a similar type of service for the tens of thousands of aircraft in all the US services-- then again, the sheer number of aircraft is probably why. The info I was looking for was on our navy Skyhawk camo schemes( the green-grey and the lo-viz grey), when they were implemented and how many got it, etc. I saw one when I was pretty much still a toddler in the early 80s and it was gull grey and figured that's what they all looked like, and I was in my dirty thirties before I even realised the camoed ones existed. ADF serials covered the what (photos of the liveries), but the ex-RAN/RNZAF service people were able to give the who, why, and how about them. And photos. Holy shit did they have a lot of fantastic, unprinted photos!!
  8. Also, as loathe as I am to suggest it, try FB. Usually there are pages for aircraft with names like Friends of (insert aircraft here) run by Av-nerds and ex-service people. I came across a couple groups looking for info on RAAF Mirages & RAN/RNZAF Skyhawks a while back and I got a shit-tonne more info than I needed from 'em. Pretty sure there's a Growler/Prowler page on there. Might help... maybe? *shrugs* Otherwise, there's a prviate VMAQ group. There's bound to be ex-members there who might be able to point you in the right direction. Just don't mention you're Army though. You know how judgy leathernecks get...
  9. Fantastic! Now with all these additional hardpoints, we can finally turn this thing into a mud mover...
  10. Did he sock you in the nose?? He should have socked you in the nose... you know, for also blaspheming.
  11. Oh I would love to make this a mod if I could :)

Last time I did it (admittedly, it was a few years and several patches ago), the radio chatter would just cut out the moment any other radio call was made, be it wingmen or allied aircraft. I never experienced it playing in it's entirety before the backlog of other radio comms played, but maybe that's just me...
  12. No, because Spinners cockteases us with his sublime work and you can only get him to release the odd skin on occasion if you threaten him with a cricket bat. Problem is, he's somehow figured out where we keep the bats, and they've all disappeared, so he's untouchable now.
  13. Oh I would love to make this a mod if I could :)

Shouldn't be too difficult to mod. Replace the audio for the 'request help' comms option (since one can't request help in the game, despite the option being there) with CCR in the audio format the game uses and you're good to go. I remember a long time ago people modding background radio chatter into that function and it seemed to do the trick...
  14. YAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSS!!!!! *ahem* I mean, sweeet!
  15. Pretty sure that's the Mobil logo. At least, it looks like their service station logo here in Oz.
  16. Aussie MirageIIIOs

Some were, others were fitted for but not installed as a cost-saving measure. Pretty sure they were installed on the IIIOFs, but not the IIIOA/Ds. I'm certain this didn't change when the fleet was standardised to the multirole IIIO standard in the 70s. The RAAF had to deal with a lot of cost cutting measures throughout the 70s and 80s, and a lot of planned equipment and upgrades like RWRs, ECM etc was never installed, or only installed as needed-- the F-111Cs never had RWRs, for example. It wasn't until we started deploying aircraft overseas to peacekeeping/joint task forces in the late 90s that things like RWRs began being fitted across the fleets. I think the F/A-18 was the first platform that had them equipped as standard. If you want a definite answer, there's a group on FB called Friends of the RAAF Mirage IIIO & IIID that's comprised of former pilots and ground crews who could tell you what's what. They're a pretty good bunch. :)
  17. Still not as ugly as the BAC Lightning though... Oh yeah, I said it, Poms. Come at me, Commonwealth bros!
  18. Yeah, go into options, gameplay, and there's an option for starting position. Should be three options: runway, in air (post-take off essentially) or near target.
  19. Always SO weird seeing Pigs looking like this, but with American insignias...
  20. THAAAAAAAAAAAAANK YOU, Russo/Wrench!!! I've loved the Belslow ever since I was a kid!!
  21. Still a 15/10 babe compared to the Blackburn Skua though. Christ, that thing fell out of the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down!
  22. Whomever needs to okay this, for the love of all that is holy, please give it! This is a thing of beauty!
  23. Seriously though, Spinners, you never fail to outdo yourself with your Wh-Ifs!
