Superb work - thanks for breathing new life into the Albie!
  1. OEFFAG Ba 53 & Ba 53 (feld Änderung) REDUX

Incredible - I was wondering what you'd do next and hoping you'd visit your skills on this particular version of the Albatros! TBH I'm a bit of an Hanriot fancier and having some spruced up opposition is pretty much a dream come true! Thank you Thank you!
  2. Albatros D II ( OEF ) REDUX

Since you're making so much effort on our behalf I'll (alba)try to do better!
  3. Albatros D II ( OEF ) REDUX

Thanks! I had noticed that it was missing but since you're doing such great work at the moment I felt a bit cheeky mentioning it! Cheers
  4. These look really cool - fabulous work! Should there be a part 3 though?
Thanks for the early Christmas Present These really breathe new life into these planes!
  5. I have joystick pedals and throttle all on one usb (unpowered) hub and they work fine with all Thirdwire, Microsoft fs, X-plane and ubisoft il2 games. If you have two joysticks then you just have to make sure that you select the right one :) But generally settings seem to get saved between games. The only problem I've ever faced is that if one of the devices becomes unplugged for any reason then settings might get mixed up - device id may get changed.
  6. ESCADRILLE 65 NIEUPORT 24bis skin pack for FE 2

Thanks for the new Nungesser skin! It's always been perhaps one of the strangest personal emblems. The links to the French web sites are really appreciated too. Something that doesn't usually come in my my searches.
  7. That looks fantastic - CS is my Favourite Gerry Anderson show (both versions). I don't have the payware F-14Z but are you planning on making the skin available? A Mysteron Sentradi Gnerl pod would go really nicely with it...
  8. ESCADRILLE 75 NIEUPORT 24 skin pack for FE 2

    More excellent skins! Love Herrisons!
  9. ESCADRILLE 87 NIEUPORT 27 skin pack for FE 2

Superb! Thanks for all the skins - looks like they operated mixed squadrons - so I can probably fly all these together!
  10. ESCADRILLE 87 NIEUPORT 24 skin pack for FE 2

These are Great! 9 out of 10 cat love the squadron symbol!
  11. ESCADRILLE 87 NIEUPORT 24bis skin pack for FE 2

More excellent skins. Love the Cat symbol (I have many!) I take it this squadron is Western Front? The historical link didn't work for me. Can't find them in Armchair Aces.
  12. There is web pages such as this that give instructions for checking if Defender is blocking things: https://pureinfotech.com/allow-blocked-file-app-microsoft-defender-antivirus/ I'm just a hobbyist so my progs not 'signed' so I guess it could be this.
  13. View File Dogfight with Loadouts Dogfight version 2.6 for Strike Fighters and First Eagles (Series 1 and Series 2) Major changes in 2.6 The Loadouts of the aircraft as defined in each aircrafts loadout.ini can now be selected. If you hover over the loadout in the list it will display the ordanance carried. Fixed bug which prevented some aircraft textures from being displayed. Dogfight is a quick mission generator much like Microsofts Quick Combat and Ubisofts Quick Mission Builder. This simple little program is an attempt to add similar facility to Thirdwire products without editing Mission files by hand, or struggling with a complex Mission Editor. So, using it you should be up and flying against a selected opponent within a few seconds (once you're use to the system anyway!). The action begins at a seperation of 0.5-4 km. To use you: 1) Start Dogfight. 2) Select aircraft types, numbers and heights, Pilot training etc. 3) Press the Red WRITE MISSION button. 4) LEAVE Dogfight running. 5) Start the Thirdwire Simulator. 6) Go to the Single Mission page and then Load Mission Menu. 7) Click on the name of the mission that you just created in dogfight(default is "0 Dogfight"). 8) When you want to change the mission click on Alt and Tab simultaneously. 9) Select Dogfight, make your changes and then press the red WRITE MISSION button. 10) Return to the Thirdwire Simulator by clicking it on the task bar (or alt tabbing if you prefer). 11) ALWAYS RESELECT THE MISSION from the Single Mission-Load Mission Menu to update the information. 12) Play the mission! Repeat 8-12 as many times as you want This sounds a bit long winded but you do soon get used to it. Installion ------------- Unzip Dogfight.zip. Find the folder called Dogfightv2.6 containing: templates (folder) df.cfg dogfight.exe readme.txt COPY Dogfightv2.6 INTO THE TOP LEVEL OF THE DIRECTORY WHERE YOU INSTALL YOUR MODS. There is an Options.ini file in this directory as well. i.e Dogfightv2.6 and Objects are at the same level. OPEN THE Dogfightv2.6 FOLDER AND CREATE A SHORTCUT FROM dogfight.exe TO YOUR DESKTOP (or wherever you want to launch if from). Testing -------- DogFight has been tested with: FE1 and FE2 (Viurtually all of the aircraft from CombatAce and the Skunkworks with Peter01 fms) SF1 (chiefly SCW) WOE (Principally Wings Over Russia and Wings Over Africa). SF2, and SFNA2, (Skunkworks PTO) (CombatAce BOB) and with additional aircraft thrown in. I've also tried it with some early Korean War era jets. Only briefly tried it with more modern types. The program was written using Microsoft Visual Studio Express 2017 C++ and FLTK. FLTK (Fast Light Toolkit) is a great free package for constructing GUIs really quickly and easily. Without it I doubt that I would have had time to write this program. Thanks Thanks to TK for creating a marvellous set of Sims. I love the way they work with TrackIR. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank the many add on creators at Combatace and the Skunkworks who have given me many hours of great gaming. I hope Dogfight helps to provide some entertainment for Thirdwire Simulator Users. 14. The permissions look right is the g drive an external usb? Although the program seem to work ok on mine I've known of probs in the past with some external devices. It works with all file systems as far as I can see though. It could be being blocked by antivirus - though mine usually gives you a dialog during install to allow you to accept it. I've never seen it but apparently in properties/general there is sometimes a blocked box that can be unticked.
  15. Happy Mach 1 Day!!!

    Happy Mach Day to you!
  16. If you click right on properties and security does it have read/write permission?
  17. Can you run it as Admin? Left click on dogfight.exe and then from the dropdown box select "run as administrator" or I guess for you the French equivalent Exécuter en tant qu'administrateur maybe? the third option down.

  20. If people think it really needs it maybe I should shove some pictures into the readme and turn it into a pdf. But really once its up and running there's not a lot more to say and all features are described in the current readme.
