With his budget, I doubt he could afford the lawyer to draw up **** like that, even if he was one of these rabid EA/sony DRM nuts. But of course TK still cares about his customers so I would never expect to see anything like this from him. NFG I understand legalese. Translated to english (english or american) means "Sony owns your computer, internet connection and intellectual property and will ruin your life if you exercise your consumer rights." And fighting **** like that is why I want to be a lawyer.

Wonderful! I was afraid you'd disappeared. A black sea terrain was released and I'm building the first USNF campaign already. -

That sky cannot possibly be from a thirdwire sim! Even with the widesky mod I've never seen anything like that! -
Not being alone in the universe is damn certain. The real question is, is anyone out there as advanced as us or advanced enough to communicate or reach here. Alien bacteria is probably common as dirt. Animals less so and civilizations even less. If the supposed UFO in this case was ours, well why would we have been ordered to fire on it? We likely won't know anything for certain until we stumble across them in space, or until someone lands in the middle of times square or the national mall in broad daylight. As for governments, it makes perfect sense to keep any kind of contact or incident involving aliens highly secret. True proof of such would have such gigantic implications for society and religion. The whole of judeo-christian belief would be rocked to its core. Mass panic and paranoia would likely ensue. I've seen my share, UFOs, ghosts(more often than ufos) my school is haunted and I'm pretty sure my house is after the freaky s**t that has happened.

Rest assured, he is burning in hell, even by his own belief's standards.

New Life For Phantoms, Killer Zombie Drones!
eraser_tr replied to Weasel Keeper's topic in Military and General Aviation
Well they've already been using them as remote drones, so all that work is done. The shift to using them as UAVs instead of target drones probably just needs some software. Wonder if the same could be done with older, even cheaper aircraft. Sabre UCAVs anyone? -
F4H-1 Phantom II

Wasn't it a one seater? -
Screw that, go with a kriss super v or ump-45. .45 ACP will do the job even better!

I would go for the Bs and simply use them conventionally and have the STOVL there just in case. Damn shame they won't be giving them a desert camo scheme like the sufa.

http://www.impactguns.com/store/le_fullauto.html Law Enforcement only. http://world.guns.ru/civil/civ009-e.htm There's always that loophole that lets you buy parts and convert to automatic It was my first choice for my planned Brazil jungle trek, until I saw the pricetag of almost $2200 (9lbs was also a consideration, but not as much). This was more my price and weight range, even though it doesn't scream "Don't f**k with me!" like a rifle near indistinguishable from a G36. http://www.impactguns.com/store/619835002006.html

Line Backer III v1.1

F-18C! Am I missing something here? was one released? -
Do you mean the civilian SL-8 G36 derivative? I wasn't aware you could just go and buy a full blown G36. Still that must be damn expensive, I was looking at rifle prices when it looked like I might end up in the jungle as part of a trip school was sponsoring. Very sharp gun though, I like the smaller piccatiny rail and iron sights version far above the normal version with the gigantic handle and scope.

"If Marines could get what they needed when they needed it we would be happy and wouldn't be ready to kill people all of the time." Wish they continued Generation Kill for more than 7 shows. It's not an M4, its the SCAR-H.
-
They still had you equiped with an A2 and not an M-16A3 or 4? I had read somewhere that they were using M-4s for that job. Should have kept the XM-8 program going, lightweight, and modular to do just that. Well, maybe with some new people in the DOD something will happen.

Pretty sure the first merlin mustangs were around in 1943. They were doing long range escort missions, but to berlin? I wouldn't know. Of course if Goering looked up in the sky and saw allied fighters, from 30,000 feet below I doubt he'd be able to discern a mustang from a thunderbolt or spitfire. I've seen plenty of goofs, but nothing so drastic to give up watching.

Wow, thats worse than people eating pizza with a fork and knife! Any other way using your hands to stuff as big of a bite into your mouth at once is just plain wrong Certainly not Manly, but that doesn't even describe it right because not even women eat burgers like that.

I just had to take a jab at nascar being such a watered down motorsport.

Pffft! Driving a ford taurus in a continuous left turn, boxed like in rush hour traffic is not racing. FIA GT racing is where its at. Ferraris, porsches, lamborghinis on complicated narrow windy tracks is real racing!

Next time, buy from tigerdirect. Out of the box the motherboard I bought was dead. Called them up and they replaced it no hassle whatsoever, I just had to wait a few days. But don't bother asking about products at all. Originally I wanted to know the difference between two motherboards and why with identically listed specs their prices were different. The only thing between them was one had an "e" at the end of the model name. Thats all they could tell me either.

OPEN COCKPIT
eraser_tr replied to FLOGGER23's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
You can change them to be toggled on command with one of the 10 anim keys even with an old plane designed long before they were added. The first plane I encountered it was with the gloster meteor. I change the canopy data to this [Canopy] SystemType=ANIMATION <------ changed from highlift_device or whatever InputName=ANIMATION_5 <----added (copied from another plane with a manual canopy) 5 used because the animation ID at bottom DeploymentMethod=MANUAL <------- changed from being automatic with speed Setting[1].Angle=30.0 Setting[1].DeployValue=15.0 Setting[1].RetractValue=10.0 MaxDeflection=30.0 MinDeflection=0.0 ControlRate=0.3 AnimationID=5 MinExtentPosition=1.8169,0.5474,-0.9940 MaxExtentPosition=-1.8544,-0.4772,0.0110 And I can toggle the canopy to open or close. I deleted the max/min deploy speeds, but leaving them might limit when you can manually open or close the canopy. -
Help to find good computer stores in NY
eraser_tr replied to Luiz Carlos's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
BestBuy will generally have all you need, either them or circuit city. Getting things directly online through tigerdirect or newegg is cheaper than retail though. They are scattered all over here inside and outside the city. -
Strange CAS Problem in All Campaigns

Alt+N just before hitting the IP. Also, try cycling through planes with F6 and see if snoopy is flying around somewhere, same with tanks and F7. -
