Yes you must be British_eh, if it says erroneous then something you entered is not valid. Do not TYPE in the number, use the pull own. Do NOT put the rank in the witness, it does say so. -

The number doesn't mean you get a claim for sure AP. If you have a low chance of a claim and it comes off, and then a good chance and it doesn't, so what? That's why it's a "chance". Nothing is guaranteed. What happens if a good claim was also claimed by a ground gunner? Many variables... -

1.26 has new FMs. AI can manoeuvre better but so can you and probably more so given you are human and pushing the boundaries. 1.26 has more gun damage on default. 1.26 has weaker wings So yes it IS different. AI is not. Hard - less damage more spray (same damage as originally default) Same for Rear AI range effects the AI range easy is easy.. for you. normal is recommended. realistic makes it harder snippet from http://www.overflandersfields.com/Downloads.htm some of the changes in 1.26 - FM improvements, roll rates for some, altitude performance improved mainly on inlines plus Fe2b. Stall and spin effects improved on some. - CoG fixed to fly more level on some craft that were too nose or tail heavy. - Damage values of all craft wings and wing tips reduced. Control cables and Ailerons strengthened. - N11 N16 N17 and Albs lower sesquiplane wings weakened slightly - N11 low level AI dogfight performance improved etc... -
Early war there are less aircraft available, and less squadrons (as per real life). Turn up the air activity if you want more, or choose a squadron right in the middle of any action areas, or fly later in the war.

tn_prvteye why not try the settings I said, you have customised it some. set it as: (3 wingmen each, 4v4) Dogfight, Enemy skill: Random Enemy situation : Normal 10,000 feet. Camel V DVII DVII v Camel Se5a v DR1 Camel v DR1 Se5a v Alb DVa some other more lively enemy craft ? You definitely seem to be seeing something different to others - make sure you go via OFF Manager and not from cfs3.exe too. -

Something sounds screwed with your install then if you think they are bad. Contrary to what you think higher sliders generally seem to produce better AI not what you expect. i.e. the engine doesn't check if your CPU/GPU is struggling speed and tone down AI, it does the opposite- looks at what sliders you choose and then adjusts AI to match. As far as we can tell anyway. Phase 2 installed previously? If so I'd add/remove programs, wipe OFF Manager from registry, reinstall from scratch. Try random AI, try campaign, and try other craft, and set QC to defaults (no advantage etc). Try some faster craft maybe? For kicks I just flew (3 wingmen each, 4v4) Dogfight, Enemy skill: Random Enemy situation : Normal 10,000 feet. Camel V DVII DVII v Camel Se5a v DR1 Camel v DR1 Se5a v Alb DVa Fab time really enjoyed it. Plenty of movie material :). Dead a few times, got a few. Craft up high, some diving, some staying put, one point me chasing an DVII, in turn chasing a Camel,chasing a DVII chasing a Camel. Had a blast testing! -
Jens did say he enjoyed OFF and that does show - but does not unbalance it at all. In the end I think a fair honest review- that's all we ask for really. I did send some other screenshots but I think Jens used his own in the end and he said it generally was on medium settings. We have a few more to come soon, a couple of magazines too, and maybe a surprise so fingers crossed.

No gun in the Alb, but for 2 seaters..auto pilot (Ctrl+Shift+A) will fly straight ish... rem to disable that when you jump back. -

Best to post issues not in this thread Blue781, this is for announcments. Warp issue is NOT fixed in 1.28. Use the workaround : Avoid using AUTO TRIM CTRL-A Or switch it off before warp and re-enable after warp. -

Yes quite easy just takes time.... Many others are playing and flying they will soon no doubt fly balloon busting I am sure and report back. Many have already I am sure flown balloon busting with 1.26 and 1.28 (which you should update to) and not reported this too... so that does indictate it is likely your setup, but we canwait to see if anyone else has seen this.. Anyone out there flown a successful balloon mission recently? -

No unfortunately there is no way to fix issues that could be related to settings by not deleting pilots and player settings. I have never seen that no ricnunes, but I am too busy to fly balloon busting missions at the moment to check your issue - if others have the same issue then we can look at. Maybe if I fly later I will try - you must understand it is very difficult to personally check out every single reported possibility unless others also see it and we think it is a bug? flynnj no idea. We'll see when others have flown some balloon missions? -
I tried it and it it seems to work fine. However as the OS is BETA and we have not tested it either, we cannot provide support or help for it. BETA also means what works today might not tomorrow by the way...

Yeah ignore it Rabu. They totally ignore the hugely overwhelming percentage of positive comments and responses from the people who actually put their money where their mouth is and bought BH&H so comments in there are a pretty worthless.

1.26 introduced many improvements in the flight models :) Sorry your pilot found out too late ;) -
Dragging the on screen instruments. Press F5, now click on a dial, and drag it. I think you have to hold Ctrl key down too.

Maybe post it in the OFF MP forum, - try disabling those A/C from the game? Are you flying missions ? If so don't use those craft maybe?

Mission briefing shows you were you are heading, so makes notes. Also map in game (M) shows you too. Visual awareness "radar" (shift+t) shows blue line for heading too. F5 brings up extra instruments on screen, compass etc. OR if you look around most pits have compass somewhere (SPAD down inside left, Tripe middle of dash, Albs down right etc.. EIII on right wing, DFW on left wing :)
