Catfish it was already implemented in OFF in previous versions - just not super white. Almost black for German and dark grey for Allied The coming expansion has it already lightened more to make it more obvious difference. In fact here's some pics ALLIED: GERMAN:

Maybe Catfish, too many things to do. Currently CFS3 treats it like an aircraft so no idea how or if could be a special FM, or possibly changed. We would only know if/when we looked at making a Zep - when I don't know. At the time we made the Phase 1 Zep FM we couldn't do much better than it had.

Uncleal thanks for helping guys but whilst Vista has it's own issues, CFS3 QC usually still runs. Why do you keep telling people it will blow up or destroy something? Can you tone it down some? "With VISTA . . . CFS3 QC is a big time NO-NO.... The Developers knew this, so it was hidden away to avoid accidental exposure." This is untrue stop saying this. We don't want you to use CSF3 QC to fly OFF no, there's a perfectly good enhanced OFF QC now, however some people still want it, so it's there just in case but it is NOT a key part of OFF.

hi Nordo, Workshop, button bottom left.. then after launching a QC in the manager you get CFS3 QC. Note your pilot can die in this mode, so make sure you don;t use a favourite campaign pilot. There is no option for this mode to keep pilot alive.

A few of the DH5 in the new coming add on. Skins are still being worked on but gives you an idea.

BTW on the N17 Lewis version it lowers the Lewis instead.

Well if it's an easy fix then maybe someone can point us to the file causing the problem? Thanks guys. We do not have unlimited resources so we would need some help - esecially as Win7 is not officially tested yet with OFF. But if it's simple we can always look - please send details of the file causing it or details to the support @overflandersfields.com addy.

Looks nice and crisp Mike ! The windshield cannot be lowered on the N24 it's a fitted piece. It probably could be removed but I'd think huddling behind it at 100 mph at altitude would be very welcome.

Convergence is set in the .XDP files in each aircraft's folder - but editing them will likely break it's use in the OFF manager. Mostly it makes not much difference at all I tried it at 50 100 and 150 and couldn't tell. Glad you like the sim Wonderwarthog Fuel tank locations vary, sometimes near the engine, sometimes behind the pilot, sometimes UNDER the pilot seat ;). Sometimes on the wing, or secondary ones are there(Se5a, DH5 etc). N28 has two tanks, one in front of the pilot in the cockpit on the right, and one nearer the engine..

You can change the drive and the OBDSoftware bit, but as per the FAQ the final install folder MUST be called "CFSWW1 Over Flanders Fields" inside whatever main folder you choose.

Glad you are sorted Catfish. What WM is saying as we do not magically delete important files randomly. I have never had that happen to "mine.xca" and neither has WM or most other people who own OFF, so something odd went wrong on your PC. This is the first thing I think of, if I have something odd happen with ANY program. Do not assume it's the program instantly and therefore affects the world - PC's are too flaky and different to assume that. Sometimes disks or files can become corrupt for many reasons. Failing hardware from old age, or bad power supplies, or been mistreated at some point, or just because they can - whatever, scrambled files from a crash in memory sometime, corrupt files from turning off the PC before it's finished, and so on I won't bore you with the 10000 other reasons

Indeed some craft had extra instruments, but generally most German craft did not have much. We tried to model what you would typically find after researching. One good instrument is the Mark I eyeball. Aim it at the big green thing - getting closer = bad generally in flight ;).

There are some more variants of the Noop 17 and 24, but that all so far.

Fantastic work Mike! Hasse Wind - time, as always is the problem. We'd love to make the remaining 100 aircraft we need quickly, but we'll get there.

German cockpits were generally as a rule sparse. RPM to make sure your engine is working, and fuel gauge, compass maybe was about it. Some later allied cockpits were extremely detailed (SPAD's like a mantle piece over the fire with all your brass on display ;), Bristol F2B, Se5a etc). There's always the override F5 "HUD" dials or press Z for info.

I don't think the profile thing works for CFS3. Try making your main profile the same and see what happens, also you probably need to set it in cfs3config too Siggi. Try 4X then set it to enhance app setting in Nvidia panel. I thought the tips in the FAQ went over this.

It advances it to the next mission, so default it around 3 missions a day.. so change the campaign mission frequency.

It's been asked several times in these forums, I'm running Win 7 64 bit for a couple of months and P3 runs fine.

Mm not seem that, anyone else get that? What OS? If not could be a problem with the install or pilots, if you backed up/restored them or edited them things can go screwy too.

OFF runs fine on Vista. As with all 32bit programs on Vista 64 some systems need to run as admin, or sometimes set XP compat mode, given Vista wasn't even a twinkle with CFS3 came out. For many it works anyway, but OFF installer was developed specifically on Vista too. Display errors are usually down to drivers/driver settings/overclocking if you have lowered sliders.
