WM is asking if you are using the CFS3 QC option in Workshops, also if you are close to the lines then you are fair game still. -
That will be by design on both counts. Winder is very talented in the terrain lark. The look a feel is very intentional. The front lines are very realistic in OFF, Winder spent a considerable time researching photographs are reports. Various areas they were not continuous across the whole front and often broken up and patchy as the front moved in parts. One reason MvR would have been confused on his last flight, that he may have believed he was nearer home than actually over enemy lines. It will change if you see other areas and other dates but that is basically what it was like in places. P1 and 2 were more brown and continuous as commonly depicted.

Try to remember which view mode you are in, possibly some don't allow it. Also make sure numlock is on.

Make sure clouds are on 5 firstly. Secondly the issue of AI visual range has been brought up dozens of times, we are aware, no need to keep telling us guys :) *IF* it's possible to adjust then yes it would be good, we will look at. However note that the player can see 4-8 miles on the radar, so maybe that needs need to reduced too IF possible - it would take a fair bit of work and testing if we find out how. Craighorn, keep flight density LOW if you want to meet less enemies and as WM says it will vary greatly, on squadron, date location so try something diffferent? Try earlier, try more remote, etc etc... -
Bouncing around there are two factors, plenty of wind gusts for a start sometime, so it's often getting blown dramatically depending on the weather I guess, the other is there seems lots of damping on the rudder on the SPAD and its quite sensitive in places. Thanks for the tips CJ will try, BTW that shot of OFF, turn up anisotropic filtering should remove that moire pattern on the grass (force that on).

QED means "that to be proven has been" in effect http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Q.E.D. No Low density will be better.. hence my comments CFS3 can only show 1 skin per model in the air. So to have 5 different skins you need 5 models. So for each craft we have many copies if you look in your aircraft folder. So we can only have say 5 aces and 5 squads of 1 type in the air. But we do have 7 types of Albs, and many other aircraft so usually not a problem. So we cannot have say 6 squads of a DIII in the air, but usually it's fine as we can have 5 plus 5 DIIIe, plus 5 DII 5 DIII OAW etc Edit; As Dej says as you see it is quite a complex set of problems the OFF manager deals with - this is just one. -

Clouds on 5 helps as AI cannot see through clouds on 5. Turn off visual aids, don't use warp. I often fly and see enemies pass by but if I warp they always seem to attack if you let warp break you out. If you turn up the density you will simply meet more flights. maybe some will engage but there will be a lot more around so you will meet more QED. There usually be many more than 20 craft it will vary on year place squads blah. Missions are set in your area. A squad may have 4 or 5 missions spread out across your zone. Note there are limits on the number of different skins in the air for 1 model so for example -

FB, check the Camel seems to have a l_wing @ 40 threshold, r_wing still 100. BTW CFS3 doesn't like doing too many effects at the same time in the Alb you have 8 kabooms all going off at the break point. Not sure what the consequence is but was always understood it's a bad idea generally. -
When you can't tell the difference between a Lancashire accent and a Liverpudlian one you are in trouble especially if travelling up north in England. OvS, Looks great. I don't know much about MP - but if they are the SAME model each player has, but still with different skins then it would be cool and we could use it in SP. Currently in SP we cannot have different models in the *players* flight. All other AI flights in OFF already have mixed skins (as they can fly different models). That's how you see J11 diving on you in full colour with mixed craft too. SJ does it allows us to have the players flight containing mixed models in SP?

Type in "I love cheese" and you'll get 100% everytime*, or you can click on the easiest claims setting in workshop ;) (*not really). -
It's amazing what mood a simple picture with little content can purvey. Love the first pic Macklroy just imagine being there, as Oldham says your blood would freeze. In those days word of mouth rumour or newspaper articles often inaccurate no doubt, would be the only info you had to go on.

Yes not a good start Hellshade but sounds like you are getting somewhere now. Maybe they will remove that need to talk just to play offline at some point.

If you are struggling for video memory bringing up the map can tip you over the edge. Low down near the airfield you are seeing many objects close up and detailed.. try notching the sliders for terrain and scenery back1.

Apparently it was a lower flange of the front spar that was made 7.5mm thick instead of 13mm as per the prototype. The wing failed for 2 Jasta's and it was withdrawn. A new corrected wing was made and tested but never made it to the front line squadrons in time for the end of the war.. so it may be pretty but there's a hint of weak wing in there just to even things up until the Snipe arrives ;) We need to do more FM testing and tweaking yet, but so far reasonably hard manoeuvres are OK so should be better than a Nieuport. -

Lol Dej, yeah although I'm still fixing things it's one of the most pleasurable craft to make, so not sure where the pain is from, guess I must tell the mistress not to increase the tension on the nipple clamps at that moment eh ;) ?
