I got my new system..and finally got got my video card up to snuff with the addition of the power cable.I am so excited with the new system and now the video is unreal!I can finally crank the setings up and with the new drivers this system rocks!If you buy an FX 5700 ultra card be sure to get the power cable,they don't tell you about it until after you start up after you install and get a pop up telling you the system has turned the card down.

your right..i hadn't noticed that..another thing to keep me busy. B) sooner or later I'm going to find the combination that makes me happy. :ph34r:

ok after some positive feed back and a few problems I decided to go ahead and let the WHOLE Biohaz community try them. The known issues seem to be sky is too blue to some and very good to others,some are seeing problems with the sun as they break through the clouds during inclimate weather..others say it looks fine.if you have any problems please let me know as I'm still working on this,also let me know what video card you're using. The changes I made were on the clouds,mostly during inclimate weather(look at the clouds and let me know what you think...I've used Deuces sky colors(Thanks Deuces),I also"worked"on the stars so be sure to try a night flight.be sure to back up your flight folder..or if you don't like them simply delete the files. ok after alot of looking and actually comparing i went with a FX 5700.sorry guys but 128 DDR2 and price really made it a no brainer...it looks really good and hope to have new system up and running a a day or 2.

yes an add-on...it's a HP model with an open APG slot so I figured why not go ahead and add it on while"the war dept."is in the money spending mood.not a bad system..AMD 3000+,512 megs DDR PC2700 ram,a 120 gig 7200 rpm HD,350 watt case,DVD-R/RW-CD-R/RW,and a 48x CD drive.now I'll throw my old trusty audigy X-gamer in there and new system.Oh yeah..maybe a X-45(going to push the edge of the envolope with that one).

OK so after all these years and over clocking my poor system until I'd get the occasional smell of smoke I have decided to get a new one...now I'm leaning towards the FX card but I see the ATI cards are very good also.what does everyone recommend and why? Thanks for advice

I am a member of the "Sons of the Confederacy"as I have family lines that Rode with Hookers Calvery...they fought at several small battles and big ones,including-Gettysburg,Bull Run and others. I have been seeing this forawhile..yes it is a part of my hertitage and I am proud of it.I fly a battle flag at my house and it's not a symbol of hate it's a symbol of my pride in my heritage.I believe if they tried to make me take it down I would sue to have every symbol of every racial background removed and made illegal,I'd lose but atleast it would show I care. This has turned into a legal circus and the call"it is a symbol of hate"has been way over used.I guess it could be said that anything with an"X" on it is a symol of hate..or anything with a symbol of anybodys past is a "symbol of hate"I wish that people would think before they started screaming...a lawyer friend of mine just laughs every time somebody sues over this issue,and the religion issue as he says i't's just somebody tring to get their name in a paper and a lawyer who sees BIG dollar signs. It's not about anything but the almighty dollar and people trying to force their opinion on everybody else.I for one will never lower my flags,be it the battle flag,or the Stars and Stripes(both are flying outside my house as I type this).
