  1. SE5 Cockpit.ini ...

Just verified it is definitely located in the ObjectData.ini. I extracted the Se5A_Cockpit .ini to verify it is the full version. You want the Se5A_Cockpit.ini located just below the Se5A_Avionics.ini. Further up in the ObjectData.ini is the version which only has four lines. That file structure must be something new.
  2. Lawn Darts

Interesting article on MSNBC http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21427173/ about an increase in F-16 crashes. For those currently serving in the USAF, do they really call F-16's "lawn darts", or is this just some more sensational coverage by the media?
  3. New Voss Skin!

Nice work there gumpy. It would be just great if you uploaded this. Thanks....
  4. Very nice work! What a fitting tribute to some beautiful warbirds.
  5. Mirage F1

Wow, that looks almost as good as the blonde in a flight suit in the F-35 thread!
  6. Would the Mirage Factory Au-1 cockpit work?
  7. Add On

So far, I've had two single missions mid-flight reboot the system. No error message was generated in either case, just blink, and the system reboots! The Expansion was installed into a completely stock, fully patched FE install. The first reboot occurred early into a bombing mission in the AEG, and the second happened as I was entering into a furball flying the Sopwith F1-150. I've only flown a limited number of single missions with the DR1 (what a looker!) and the Albatros D3, but no problems on either of these. The Expansion install does not have a modded weaponsdata.dat or the modded Weapons folder.
  8. Firecage's new DR1 skin?

Firecage's Red Dr1 skin is for the brand new First Eagle Expansion pack released by TK Friday night. Firecage's beautiful new Richtofen skin is for the DR1 model which is included in Thirdwire's Expansion Pack. Head over to the Thirdwire site to take a look at it.
  9. Monty currently visits the First Eagles forum here. Take a look at the Nieuport 16 thread; Monty just posted a mod to his beautiful Nieuport 11 model there.
  10. nieuport 16

Wow, from first discussion of a concept to a new model in about one day's time! Thanks to Monty, Christian and Tailspin for getting it done right now!
  11. Oh Yeah......

I had no idea Hrntfixr was such an accomplished poet. Gimme a second, I have to wipe a tear from my eye....
  12. Deuces, your web site is really missed, and I'm pretty sure I'm speaking for more than myself!
  13. Just about any flavor of MiG-21 you can think of is available. The Mirage Factory MiG-21F-13 is particularily tasty!
  14. Is it just me or

Everything is just fine here, too....
  15. It looks just great! Thanks for all your work.
  16. It certainly looks like Brain32 has successfully joined the very small group of "terrain artists" in the community. Thanks for all your hard work!
  17. I hadn't seen any good pictures of the Mirage IV before. That is one seriously beautiful aircraft!
  18. Hey P10ppy, looks like you're turning out some more of your usual outstanding material. Thanks, and I'll be looking forward to the final releases.
  19. With Deuce's site under reconstruction, these terrain tiles fill a much needed WOV improvement at a very opportune time. Great work, Brain! Variety is a nice thing to have. Thanks for all your hard work.
  20. Great job,Brain. I'm really looking forward to these!
  21. Good stuff, Brain! Really appreciate all your artistic efforts.
  22. I've got my fingers crossed that Diego didn't piddle in the punchbowl!
  23. If you downloaded WOV from Thirdwire's website, I was under the impression that the Thirdwire downloads are fully patched to the most current configuration. I seem to remember others screwing up their brand new installs by applying the patch over a clean donload version. Check Thirdwire's forum for the full skinny!
  24. Damrong, I have been getting a Windows Error Signature on Sfp1, WOV, WOE and FE for the last two months. I'm running Windows XP Professional SP2 with the August 2007 Directx redistributable and fully patched versions of all the Thirdwire sims. I finally did a complete reformat and fresh install of XP Pro SP2, reinstalled all four of Thirdwire's sims, and redownloaded and installed the Service Packs and patches and reverted all the way back to the Nvidia Forceware 93.71 WHQL video drivers for my 7950GT video card. Guess what? I still got the same F*****G Windows Error Signature message! So, on a hunch that the latest Directx Redistributable package, which includes both Directx 9.0C and Directx 10 files, was causing the same problems Vista users were having with the EffectShader; I did the UseEffectShader=FALSE edits to all the terain files in each of my Thirdwire installs. I just finished playing a single mission in SFP1, WOV, WOE and FE without getting the error message once! Before this fix, I couldn't finish a single mission in any of the Thirdwire sims without the Windows Error Signature screen puching me in the face. The fix process is open the terrain folder for each installed terrain. In WOV: 1. Open the VietnamSEA folder 2. Use the SFP1E Extract Utility to extract the VIETNAMSEA_Data.ini from the VietnamSEA.cat file. 3. Edit the UseEffectShader=TRUE to read UseEffectShader=FALSE, located under NormalTextureMaterial and WaterTextureMaterial. 4. Save the VIETNAMSEA_Data.ini and and go fly a single mission with a couple different aircraft. I hope this works for you!
  25. Looking at a framed, numbered and signed print of The Phantoms by D. Kissinger that is on the wall directly above my monitor, it looks like Sundowner pretty much got it spot on! The only difference I can see, is the litho has the outboard tank pylons painted white. The inboard pylons are black, and the Sidewinder rails are white. I saw this exact plane a number of times "back in the day" at the Point Mago NAS airshows, and it was always one smooth looking bird!
