  1. I will tell him to reupload. A question: Norman Knights? I have this link for F-111 cockpits http://www.schmidtwerner.de/products/e_f-111_pit.html Is this the ne you are talking about? edit: did a quick check. The link I have is for Knights' pit. I'll remind alfonso not to post any file coming from that pack. Is there a reason why they don't want this pic posted anywhere, just for curioisty?
  2. Yeah Falcon4 A Falcon4 system with SFP1 looks and moddability..dreams
  3. Thanks Alfonso. Wasn't there a cockpit for RF-111G around?
  4. Many thanks starfighter; when you are feeling better, (best wishes fot your health) could you elaborate more on the subject? I dlike to understand better, how the various figures in flightcontrol entries relate to eachother
  5. Quoting Atreides: Has anyone else here encountered this issue ? When playing single player strike missions that once Alt+N is hit the flight warps and when the ground target button is hit the target is a considerable distance away, I then hit Alt+N again and it said near home base (or something to that effect), I then proceeded to have my flight follow me up and flew the distance to the target, before a single shot was fired the wingmen were out of ammo and when I returned to base they'd all crashed. end quote I noticed it for sure with gripen(SFP FM ) and EF2000; I am really curious to understand why, and if this is related to the landing and approach crashes the aforementioned planes seems to have (including the F-22) I think this is an intersting topic to be explored
  6. With those aircraft I observe consistent (read always) crashing on final approach, both for AI and for player's aircraft when left on autopilot in SFP1 For Gripen I am NOT talking about the WOI-beta FM Must be something simple, and I know some other many users have been experiencing this. Is there a solution? happens consistently in every terrain
  7. Any idea about this one? It happens with Gripen, F-22 and EF-2000
  8. Punching this up HAs anyone figured out, in SFP, the wingman crashing thing?
  9. As always, great. Thanks; I am going to play the missions.
  10. Kei, you will have to skin the EF2000 noW!
  11. Thanks for the well done, it is a compliment from you! You think is the other side? I will check, anyway it is a simple edit, I made the entry for the laserpod station from the amraam 2 station , it is only to replace it with amraam 1 station, while keeping it station 14. Try the merc skin! it is fun ! and make sure you get the latest entries, I made a typo in previous post
  12. Following some questions to craig, this is my asnwer. EDITED: IF YOU COPIED ENTRIES BELOW, COPY AGAIN THERE WERE SOME TYPOS Two things and ini for the EF200 First. strike Loadout. In Strike loadout you could have the LaserPod in the left-forward amraam bay. This is how to do it in [Fuselage] section of the data.ini, add.. .................. SystemName[020]=LPStation then in the data add: [DesStation] SystemType=WEAPON_STATION StationID=14 StationGroupID=7 StationType=SEMI_RECESSED AttachmentPosition=0.88,1.3,-0.62 AttachmentAngles=0,0,0 EjectVelocity=0.0,0.0,-2.0 LoadLimit=500 AllowedWeaponClass=LP AttachmentType=US,NATO,UK,USN,USAF,SWEDEN Due to same game limitation in loadout screen you will still read 4 meteor. But in the game you should see the laser pod, provided that you have the LP pod in your weapondata, and that you it has the right attachemnts, and it has available dates in the loadout I used the Litening III, MAYBE SOMEONE WILL TELL ME A MORE SUITABLE LASER POD? LIKEWISE, CAN SOMEONE PLEASE EXPLAIN HOW TO HAVE DUAL LGB RACKS LIKE IN THE FRENCH-EF2000 PICTURE POSTED ABOVE?(the above capitalized not to be rude and yelling , but because I can't find the answer on the net, and make the questions more visable in this confusing post) loadout: Loadout[01].WeaponType=Meteor Loadout[01].Quantity=1 Loadout[03].WeaponType=Meteor Loadout[03].Quantity=1 Loadout[04].WeaponType=Meteor Loadout[04].Quantity=1 Loadout[05].WeaponType=ASRAAM Loadout[05].Quantity=1 Loadout[06].WeaponType=ASRAAM Loadout[06].Quantity=1 Loadout[07].WeaponType=GBU-27 Loadout[07].Quantity=1 Loadout[08].WeaponType=GBU-27 Loadout[08].Quantity=1 Loadout[09].WeaponType=Typhoon tank Loadout[09].Quantity=1 Loadout[10].WeaponType=Typhoon tank Loadout[10].Quantity=1 Loadout[11].WeaponType=GBU-27 Loadout[11].Quantity=1 Loadout[12].WeaponType=GBU-27 Loadout[12].Quantity=1 Loadout[13].WeaponType=Typhoon tank Loadout[13].Quantity=1 Loadout[14].WeaponType=LiteningIII Loadout[14].Quantity=1 Second: Quick Mercenary Skin. As you know I can't resist mercenary, and Craig's EF2000 really needs some girls painted on its fuselage or fins. I used hoarmurath's skin for the saab draken, a wonderful skin available on CA. http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?autoc...p;showfile=3710 This a good occasion to download and install on a draken. then copy the baeevaluation skin in ef2000 folder and rename it merc. then copy numbers.ini from the draken's merc skin and drop in ef2000's merc folder. Create dhe following decals.ini in EF2000's merc skin folder [Decal001] MeshName=left outer wing DecalLevel=0 DecalFacing=TOP FilenameFormat=Insignia Position=-4.000,-3.000 Scale=1.0 DecalMaxLOD=4 [Decal002] MeshName=left outer wing DecalLevel=0 DecalFacing=BOTTOM FilenameFormat=Insignia Position=-4.000,-3.000 Scale=1.0 DecalMaxLOD=4 [Decal003] MeshName=right outer wing DecalLevel=0 DecalFacing=TOP FilenameFormat=Insignia Position=4.000,-3.000 Scale=1.0 DecalMaxLOD=4 [Decal004] MeshName=right outer wing DecalLevel=0 DecalFacing=BOTTOM FilenameFormat=Insignia Position=4.000,-3.000 Scale=1.0 DecalMaxLOD=4 [Decal005] MeshName=fin R DecalLevel=2 DecalFacing=RIGHT FilenameFormat=J-35f\mercenary\d\mercr Position=-5.0,1.6 Rotation=0.0 Scale=1.0 DecalMaxLOD=4 [Decal006] MeshName=fin L DecalLevel=2 DecalFacing=LEFT FilenameFormat=J-35f\mercenary\d\mercl Position=-5.0,1.6 Rotation=0.0 Scale=1.0 DecalMaxLOD=4 [Decal007] MeshName=fin R DecalLevel=2 DecalFacing=RIGHT FilenameFormat=J-35f\mercenary\d\mercname Position=-4.3,1.2 Scale=1.15 DecalMaxLOD=4 [Decal008] MeshName=fin L DecalLevel=2 DecalFacing=LEFT FilenameFormat=J-35f\mercenary\d\mercname Position=-4.3,1.2 Scale=1.0 DecalMaxLOD=4 //[Decal009] MeshName=fin L DecalLevel= DecalFacing=LEFT FilenameFormat= Position=-5.0,1.8 Scale=0.5 DecalMaxLOD=4 //[Decal010] MeshName=fin R DecalLevel=2 DecalFacing=RIGHT FilenameFormat= Position=-5.0,1.8 Scale=0.5 DecalMaxLOD=4 [Decal009] MeshName=fuselage DecalLevel=0 DecalFacing=RIGHT FilenameFormat=insignia Position=1.387,0.35 Scale=1.0 DecalMaxLOD=4 [Decal010] MeshName=fuselage DecalLevel=0 DecalFacing=LEFT FilenameFormat=insignia Position=1.387,0.35 Scale=1.0 DecalMaxLOD=4 [Decal011] MeshName=fuselage DecalLevel=2 DecalFacing=RIGHT FilenameFormat=J-35f\mercenary\d\mercnum Position=-1.0,0.35 Scale=0.6 DecalMaxLOD=4 [Decal012] MeshName=fuselage DecalLevel=2 DecalFacing=LEFT FilenameFormat=J-35f\mercenary\d\mercnum Position=-1.0,0.35 Scale=0.6 DecalMaxLOD=4 [Decal013] MeshName=Forward fuselage DecalLevel=0 DecalFacing=RIGHT FilenameFormat= Position=4.0,0.6.20 Scale=0.2 DecalMaxLOD=4 [Decal014] MeshName=Forward fuselage DecalLevel=0 DecalFacing=LEFT FilenameFormat=Typhoon/BAE Evaluation/D/tri Position=4.0,0.6.20 Scale=0.2 DecalMaxLOD=4 PLEASE NOTE ; girls pictures are decals 5 and 6 (mercl and mercr); I ve been tweaking position and scaling of the decals and for some pictures there is some compromise, but the overall result is intersting. Please experiment. It is a good way to appreciate craig's work if you haven't yet, and hoarrmurath's skin that went perhaps a little unnoticed. This is a picture of the loadout. The girl on the tail is a trial and was out of position; with the entries included they should be better positioned.
  13. I like this thread. Very interesting to see what Warsaw Pact FELLOW aviators were dealing with in their cockpit And see that their manuals were like ours after all Aviation has no boundaries
  15. Yes I ve seen that post. What happened is that your kind and reconciling reaction ignited a flame-war and strong comments which most likely will end up in having someone leave the community, ultimately leaving us without his mods, and with bittered feelings on either side. It has already happened in a few cases. Big feelings, Big feelings. Been there
  16. What is incredible is that Craig is still apologizing for his righteous reaction to that pm. You should be the one getting apologies. On the other hand, seems that the ability of being nice, understanding, wanting to find an agreement without a fight, controlling the big urges of shooting and breaking someone's neck, well this ability is really not spread equally among mankind. Some have too much, some have too little. I know that very well.
  17. This version of the avionic adds an horizon line and is fully SFP1 compatible. Note for everyone. I made this messy file,it is my fault, and you use it at your own risk. Give it a look, hopefully, for craig could be an help should he feel like releasing an update, and for everyone else could be a starting point for debate and further experiment. Also, what in the hell you used to compress the file? 650mb is the folder for the typhoon and the download was about 48 meg! Impressive compression! Same pictures. TWS, with no target in sight STT with meteor STT with sidewinders. EDITED: EDITED: EDITED Actually as Crusader stated, there are some "collateral effects" in having ase_circles used for tags as TWS and actual ase circles. For example, when you switch to ACM mode, you won't have any ASEcircle showing until you lock a target (i.e go in STT), and then you have ase circles even without a target locked In TWS too, the label TWS will appear, but no ase circle, again until you lock a target. (IN STT) Then (without target locked )switching to TWS won't show the label TWS, that will appear, with the ASE when you choose an MRM or SRM. I hope what I wrote makes sense Further experiment will follow. I guess this is the best we can get with the current limitations, and I am talking SFP and not WOI. To have the horizon line available in the EF2000 radar, just copy and paste Radar_HORIZON.tga form cockpit\radar of, for example, the F16A Blk10, and drop this file in cockpit\radar of the typhoon Typhoon_AVIONICS.zip
  18. You have to edit the following lines in avionics.ini Make sure they look like this: ////limited or not implemented functionality/// [HUD_BankIndicator] SymbolType=ROLL_INDICATOR ImageFilename=cockpit\HUD\HUD_BKI.tga ImagePosition=0.0,0.0 ImageSize=0.20 ScaleImageFilename=cockpit\HUD\HUD_bankindic.tga ScaleImageSize=0.15 HorizontalAlignment=CENTER VerticalAlignment=CENTER Scale=-40.0 MaxValue=60 MinValue=-60 [HUD_LowFuel] SymbolType=FUEL_LOW_TEXT Text=BINGO TextPosition=-0.0,0.0 HorizontalAlignment=CENTER VerticalAlignment=CENTER //[HUD_SteeringCue] <-----------------important, mark them out with // SymbolType=STEERING_CUE ImageFilename=cockpit\HUD\SteeringCue.tga ImageSize=0.055 //[HUD_Steerpoint] <-----------------important, mark them out with // SymbolType=STEERPOINT_SYMBOL ImageFilename=cockpit\HUD\Steerpoint.tga ImageSize=0.055
  19. Thanks Crusader. This new system, I guess is WOI prerogative only? If I understand right, in WOI it is allowed to have text entry in the radar as well and not just in the hud, correct?
