F-35 Lightning II jet to make maiden British flight The combat aircraft will fly in Britain for the first time this summer at 2 airshows. The F-35 Lightning II will make its international debut in July at the Royal International Air Tattoo in Fairford and in the same month will also fly at the Farnborough International Air Show. This will be the first time the combat aircraft has flown outside of the United States. The selection of 2 UK airshows demonstrates the significant role that Britain has in the programme. Approximately 15% of every aircraft is built in the UK. Defence Secretary Philip Hammond said: The US and the UK have worked closely together on the F-35 project from the beginning. We are the only country that is a Level 1 partner in the project, which is sustaining tens of thousands of jobs in the UK. This fifth generation stealth combat aircraft will be a major boost to British combat air power and it is entirely fitting that the F-35’s first stop outside the United States will be in the UK – its second home. The MOD has 3 aircraft which are all currently based in the US undertaking training with Royal Navy and Royal Air Force pilots. Orders for further aircraft will be placed over the next few years. The UK’s first operational Lightning II squadron, 617 Squadron, is scheduled to transition to RAF Marham in Norfolk from the US in 2018 ahead of flight trials of the Queen Elizabeth Class Carrier later that year. The Royal International Air Tattoo is open to the public from 11-13 July and Farnborough International Air Show is open to trade visitors from 14-18 July and open to the public 19-20 July. https://www.gov.uk/government/news/f-35-lightning-ii-jet-to-make-maiden-british-flight

I think the Tornado will be fully retired by 2020 - something like that I did see this (Jan 2014) http://theaviationist.com/2014/01/31/dambusters-last-mission-tonka/ Royal Air Force’s 617 Squadron known as the “Dambusters”, from the daring night missions against the Mohne, Eder and Sorpe dams, pivotal to Hitler’s industrial heartland in the Ruhr Valley, back in 1943, completed their last operational mission (over Afghanistan) with the Tornado GR4. It will be a temporary disbandment though: the unit will reform in 2018, with both Royal Air Force and Navy personnel and it will be equipped with the F-35B Lightning II joint strike fighter. This last flight was a Close Air Support (CAS) mission, which aimed at helping the coalition troops and was made by Squadron Leader, Mark Jackson. -

Can you get to the main menu screen? What version are you trying to install? you are running it from the exe not from an old shortcut? If any mod folder has been created delete that Does it run as admin? (right click - properties - compatibility). Try stopping some programs via task manger to see if any other program is stopping it. -
Cessna’s parent company Textron Scorpion is a low cost Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR)/Strike aircraft with a cruising speed of up to 450 knots. Developed in about 2 years, the aircraft has a ferry range of 2,400 NM (nautical miles) and a payload of 3,000 lbs internal stores as well as underwing PGMs (Precision Guided Munitions), is pitched for ISR and homeland security mission set. Indeed, the “affordable warplane for low-threat missions” has shown its impressive stability and responsiveness by intercepting a Cessna 182 flying at extremely low speed: 120 KCAS (Knots Calibrated Air Speed). The two-seater with twin tails, a two 8,000 lb turbofan engines, straight wings and all-composite fuselage seems be a perfect match for the “low-cost combat plane to contain the cost of prolonged operations,” whose need emerged during Libya Air War 2011. Even if it is unclear whether such platform has real chances to see active service within the U.S. or any other country’s air arm, for sure the image of the mock interception on the C182 shows that the Scorpion would be capable to perform, if needed, even the SMI (Slow Mover Interceptor) role. http://theaviationist.com/2014/04/10/scorpion-low-speed-interception/

Well anyone who keeps the Cold War flying is okay by me The Polish Ministry of National Defense has eventually decided that the Polish Air Force Su-22 Fitters will remain active for at least 10 more years. The Cold War era fighter bomber has been in service in the Polish Air Force for nearly 30 years now. As reported earlier this year, Poland was considering to get rid of its fleet of Su-22 attack planes, possibly replacing them with UCAVs (unmanned combat air vehicles). eighteen of the Fitterss in best shape are to remain active, including 12 Su-22M4 single seaters and 6 UM3K trainers. The Military Aviation Works no. 2 in Bydgoszcz is going to refurbish the aircraft’s equipment. It is the same facility that takes care of the more modern Polish F-16s. The main aim of the refurbishment is to make the old fighter-bombers more interoperable with other NATO aircraft. Additionally the Su-22 engines are going to be refurbished by Military Aviation Works No. 4. This facility is located in Warsaw. The Su-22s are going to be used then in accordance with their technical status. The planned modifications are quite interesting, even though the scope of works is not so wide. According to dziennikzbrojny.pl website the changes would include installation of an ICAO and Eurocontrol compliant communications suite (8, 33 kHz channel spacing). There are also rumors that the Polish Fitters are to get new instruments, scaled in the imperial units. This would also make cooperation with the NATO aircraft easier for the pilots. When it comes to application of the old fighter-bombers, they will be an important asset within the special forces and anti-aircraft gunners training programs, taking over the duties already done by the Polish F-16. from http://theaviationist.com/2014/04/03/su-22-to-be-upgraded/

Pretty sure the original block 10 didn't have TWS - it would still need to switch to STT to fire AIM-7s though - TKs does have that mode. Also not sure if required but the radar might need to support Continuous Wave in the data ini - looking at the F-4: RadarMissileGuidanceCW=TRUE -
Fishbed tactics against fighters?
MigBuster replied to Stratos's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - General Discussion
So the MiG-21F has 2 cannon with 60 rnds per gun - but the MiG-21F-13 was reduced to one cannon and 30rnds only according to TK and Yefim Gordon but the Have Doughnut report states in several places its 1 x cannon can take a max of 60 rnds - potential for at least another 0.1 secs of firepower -

would have to check - the MiG-21F-13 had one of the cannons removed to fit in some Atoll gear - the earlier MiG-21F had 2 cannons I think -
