HMCS Bonaventure (CVL22) ------------------------- 1957 to 1960s era style deck HMCS Bonaventure (CVL 22) was a Majestic class aircraft carrier. She served in the Royal Canadian Navy and Canadian Forces Maritime Command from 1957 to 1970 and was the third and the last aircraft carrier to serve Canada. The ship was laid down for the British Royal Navy as HMS Powerful in November 1943. At the end of World War II, work on the ship was suspended in 1946. At the time of purchase, it was decided to incorporate new aircraft carrier technologies into the design. Bonaventure never saw action during her career having only peripheral, non-combat roles. However, she was involved in major NATO fleet-at-sea patrol during the Cuban Missile Crisis. -

Notice to ALL Modders and Uploaders....
MigBuster replied to Wrench's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - General Discussion
Yes after you have added uploaded screenshots, before submitting just click on one of the thumbnails and a green tick will appear on it - assume it works.................... You can also do this to files already uploaded by going into edit -
I wouldn't lose any sleep over it Jug - there isn't much on that site of any value that I can see - a lot of the models were made by others and converted by them.. I've seen more than enough now to know what type of people they are - so who cares....they are not worth it.......let them play with their crappy punctured ball.

Not a racing fan as such but this looks pretty good - was always intrigued by these legends

The F-15 has quite a wide body which must have generated enough lift to keep it flying and the pilot could compensate with the aileron on the other wing Good to see both got out in this case

A-10A and Su-25 for DCS Flaming Cliffs Now Available
MigBuster replied to Dave's topic in CombatACE News
If you have FC3 in DCS World then you don't need to get these - because they will just be included with the last patch for free. These are only for people that don't want to buy FC3 - but want some other jets to fly (think 3rd wire DLC but a lot better quality) Have had a go on the A-10A - (because I have FC3 ) and it seems pretty good to me In the future they could upgrade the pits to be fully clickable - if they did this then I suspect everyone would need to pay for them. -
Wiki suggests they thought they were close to the Med so thought they could just walk North - but also suggests if they went South they could have found the B-24 with working radio and water! Not so easy to decide when you have a compas and no real clue where you are.

Didn't realise there was a whole family of them
-
Nice - good to see some blokes there waiting to pull it ashore, and not a massive Bear!
-
Also simulated in DCS - if you fill up the fuselage fuel tank with more than 40 gals it changes the Centre of Gravity making it totally unstable and thus high performance maneuvers are not allowed. The main tanks in the P-51 are the left and right wing tanks apparently.
