Yes the F-35A does have a hook - its hidden in the body work (if I can find that picture) Not backing this yet - would be better for DCS fans to get a new terrain

US makes the best combat aircraft in my opinion - if you want quality you have the best - and a proven combat record with the F-16 most other platforms can't boast about. It may be the concept that the EF/Rafale/Gripen are all based on but its still pretty capable.
