Fresh install
MigBuster replied to gillg's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - General Discussion
You will have to run each exe separately and install them how you want them If they are older exes you need to do them in order and also in conjunction with relevant patches - that you will find on here or on the TW site. You will also need to install them how you want them - i.e. are you merging the whole lot or are you installing them to different locations -
errr .....but needs a bit of work looking at this............. http://www.hml.queensu.ca/papertab

The May 2013 Patch and you
MigBuster replied to SupGen's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - General Discussion
It might be affecting a few mods - but I haven't noticed that much wrong in my install You take a risk with any patch - I only bother patching if there is something that might change things for the better. -
If you can watch BBC iPlayer then I thought this was an interesting documentary on some of the key things that caused some major issues in Iraq after 2003 - has most of the key players being interviewed. http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b02w1gth/The_Iraq_War_After_the_Fall/

Crikey yes - just from the many poor decisions that seemed to have occurred although we may never get the full facts it was at least some insight into why things seemed to go so badly .

If only Blind desperate hope left to make a bit of money http://www.nzherald.co.nz/opinion/news/article.cfm?c_id=466&objectid=10889719 Tom Cruise is still feeling the need for speed. Plans for a sequel to action classic Top Gun are still on the boil, according to Jerry Bruckheimer. The movie producer offered a swift update on the long-gestating follow-up movie while speaking at the Produced By Conference in Los Angeles over the weekend. "For 30 years we've been trying to make a sequel and we're not going to stop. We still want to do it with Tom [Cruise] and Paramount are still interested in making it," Deadline quotes Bruckheimer as saying. "What Tom tells me is that no matter where he goes in the world, people refer to him as Maverick," he added.

MigBuster replied to usafphantom2's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - General Discussion
Yeah I did see the Su-9 was in an update for the Android game a few weeks back. So that leaves the MiG-25 and F-5A/C/E, and F-4S for the next pack :) -
What a total nightmare - stay safe. We have missed that this year - despite having the coldest spring on record

Dornier 17 Salvage Operation
MigBuster replied to MigBuster's topic in Military and General Aviation
Looks like they may have got it - from http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-22846645 A German World War II bomber has been raised from the bottom of the English Channel. The Dornier 17 aircraft was shot down off the Kent coast more than 70 years ago during the Battle of Britain. Believed to be the only intact example of its kind in the world, it has laid in 50ft (15m) of water on the Goodwin Sands. Attempts by the RAF Museum to salvage the relic have been hit by strong winds over the last few weeks. The BBC's Nick Higham on board the salvage barge said the weather conditions for the hour-long operation were "near perfect" on Monday evening....... -

How Is the 1.2.4 Patch?
MigBuster replied to Dave's topic in Digital Combat Simulator Series General Discussion
It might have handled it back then - now with gfx changes to the core game in later patches it likely needs more resource so has pushed you passed the limit. Of course you may have to try different drivers - or is your OS still in a good state? is the hard disk full, have you got 200 spyware programs running when you play ? Then advanced driver settings come into play for FPS - even for BMS on a GTX-670 it seems! If it is a hardware issue then you need to get a new Laptop - kinda the disadvantage of them I suppose. -
He states he is an ordinary guy - yet at the same time declares himself to be judge, jury and expert on the issue - even though it sounds like he doesn't understand much about comms security. It sounds like they can target suspects regarding some forms of communication - hasn't this always been the way.......

Can't see the Like names anymore since the update in the bottom right hand corner of posts - both in IE 10 and Chrome - Is that just me?

Is it possible for the game to use addon carriers?
MigBuster replied to R102Delphinus's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - General Discussion
If you mean - another variant - make a copy of the Yak-38 folder and rename it to Yak-38M or whatever then just rename the ini file in it to Yak-38M.ini You wont be able to modify the model but will be able to extract the files to alter the Flight model, loadouts, and Avionics etc -
Had cleared the cache on both and restarted - no difference - have tried a different skin and checked to see if any options changed this. What browser are you using ?
