hmm well even if you assume its jets only - according to the great wiki - USAF pilot Joseph McConnell has 16 x MiG-15 claims Giora Epstein claimed 16 Jets and 1 x Mi-8 - so that's more a joint world record you could say.....based on dubious claims that you could never verify anyway.........

The Uber MiG-17/19s only came about ~2008 - and later they gained better all round vision. Before that they were cannon fodder for anything - so TK probably got a lot of complaints that the AI were not a challenge - and because its a 'game' people got what they want. But it is nice to have challenge.

That was quick - full images and information claiming to be from their social networking sites also on the BBC. Did these guys just go home as if nothing had happened? - maybe they didn't realise the extent of the camera coverage
