  1. f-101voodoo.com

Nice - good use of Tabs - you have a formatting issue in the AMARC tab you may want to check
  2. Can you say Zoom Zoom?

    Maybe it wasn't a car:
  3. Merry Christmas to all

Wishing you all a very Happy Christmas / Xmas where ever you may be.
  4. It does it automatically. Can you tell us game, patch level and the Operating system you are using.
  5. If they are not in the downloads section here then maybe not - his site is no longer up at the old URL. They are used in YAP and The Rising Sun - which are not free. The free tileset used with GreenHell - think its by Brain32 is on this site and I prefer it tbh.
  6. Read section 1 The Basics in here - mods go in a totally different place now. http://combatace.com/topic/44026-converting-older-planes-to-work-in-sf2-a-basic-guide-by-migbuster/ I also assume you created a new Mod folder by making a copy of the games .exe and renaming it to something like "NF4"?
  7. How do you get up to 3 mavericks back on F4:AF

It was changed in a later patch - Not sure if its possible to change this - Lead Pursuit saved most of the files as binary - someone might know though. Heres some info on modern mav loadouts: http://www.f-16.net/f-16_forum_viewtopic-t-11219-view-next.html
  8. I removed all the targeting boxes to make it more of a challenge - a red dot stuck on a MiG is an enemy for sure - but without that I am forced to vis ID it with TIR - which makes me hesitate until I know what I am firing at - and even then I still sometimes mis ID and fire at a friendly..much more interesting! Yes the Recon photo approach - been using that for years - with the targetting box on you can see it through the floor of the cockpit so its very easy to judge when to dive in - I wanted a more Andy Bush approach to it all. AAA is very difficult to target - but at night you can see the muzzle flashes clearer with DX10 and you can see smoke in the daytime - and if you cant see it use padlock.
  9. Tremendous work in finding a way to populate the stock carriers!
  10. Assuming you havent installed the tanks using the weapondata.ini (the old way)- the tanks wont work because they are in the old format for SF1 Games. To install them the new way so the game picks them up either look at your other custom SF2 weapons or look here in section 1 http://combatace.com/topic/44031-guide-to-converting-old-weapons-from-the-strike-fighters-1-series-to-the-new-plug-and-play-weapons-for-the-strike-fighters-2-series-by-migbuster/ You need at minimum a .ini and .data.ini in the folder - but just create them using other weapons as a guide.
  11. Exp1 is for SF2I only - so no Is this the new stock non modified Hunters you are on about?
  12. Right so you are trying to install WOV and WOE WOV installs okay and you can start the game - but WOE will not install?? - how far do you get in the install process? Assume by reprogram you mean you have reformatted and installed Windows XP on your PC again?? If so did you re install the required version of Direct X 9?
  13. from (Has Video) http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-11830094 A formation of Harrier jump jets has made its final journey from HMS Ark Royal - the last such flight from a UK aircraft carrier for about 10 years. The four GR9 jets marked the end of an era when they roared off the deck near North Shields, North Tyneside. Both the Ark Royal and the Harriers are being scrapped under cost-saving plans. The Harriers, heading to RAF Cottesmore in Rutland, will be decommissioned in 2011 and replaced by the F35 Joint Strike Fighter aircraft. The Ark Royal was sailing across the North Sea to Hamburg in Germany. Lt Cdr James Blackmore, who was the last Harrier pilot to leave, said he was immensely proud. 'Emotional moment' "It is amazing. I watched a Harrier hovering over Chatham dockyard when I was eight years old and I am now fortunate enough to be flying the Harrier today," he said. "It's an amazing aircraft, superb to fly and just very enjoyable." HMS Ark Royal is like the girlfriend you hate and you only realise you loved her when she has binned you” PO Andrew Collins The crew of the 22,000-tonne Ark Royal, which has seen active service in the Balkans and 2003 invasion of Iraq, lined the decks to watch the historic departure. Captain Jerry Kyd said there was a tear in his eye when the last Harrier left. "It was an emotional moment and also one of real pride as we look back over 25 years service to Queen and country," he said. "No naval officer wants to see any ship decommissioned early and she is a fine vessel and she has a fine history. "She is at the peak of her efficiency but one understands that very difficult decisions have to be made across government." One senior officer described the decision to scrap both the jets and carrier as "madness". Petty Officer Andrew Collins, 26, from Glasgow, said: "HMS Ark Royal is like the girlfriend you hate and you only realise you loved her when she has binned you." And Petty Officer David Terracciano, 31, from Portsmouth, added he was "gutted". The Ark Royal - the Royal Navy's flagship - will eventually head back to her Portsmouth base on 3 December. It will be replaced by the Queen Elizabeth class of aircraft carrier at the end of the decade, which will carry F35 Joint Strike Fighter aircraft. A group of former Royal Navy admirals have suggested scrapping the Harrier force and HMS Ark Royal could leave the Falklands open to attack - a claim denied by ministers who insist the UK will still be able to defend the islands. retards
  14. regarding bombs - assume you want advice on the older jets without bombing aid such as CCIP or guided munitions - see here: http://www.simhq.com/_air/air_055a.html External view with HUD? never seen it although not to say it cant be done. Personally the game HUD info is the first thing I get rid of
  15. Yep as above - you are putting them into the wrong game folder. The location for Mods is now in a different location to where the core game files are saved.
  16. Not really an option though if you want the Exp2 features - did you install the latest patch? that fixed most of the issues - and the next patch should sort out the prop issues. I believe this thread is about getting TW to change parts of the game to accommodate long standing problems with Mods that cant be fixed from this side - like trees through clouds for example - which would be fantastic!. Its more of a feature request though because as far as TK is concerned he only tests the stock games - which is fair enough.
  17. The original Thirdwire Desert terrain only comes with SFP1 or SFGold - do you have those? or SF2 even?
  18. Weapons folder goes here: C:\...\WOE\Objects\Weapons If it crashes on you you are probably using the wrong weapons editor version to save the weapondata.ini. Okay - with campaigns - have you created a separate install for each campaign? if not it will never work. what I mean is - install the game once Install patch make copy of entire game folder for each campaign. rename it to WOE_ODS for example - that's your new install - you must then install the new files into that install only. there should be loads about this in the SF1 knowledgebase
  19. I have the whole lot from the discount Razbam giveaway a few years back - but I dont use any of them - the free ones are better for the SF2 stock terrains and high res.
  20. Most of them probably exist already - there are definitely a few F-16A B20 skins on here.
  21. Playing

    they look good actually
  22. Happy Birthday Bongodriver!

    Happy Birthday
  23. Abandoned on Mt Everest

Interestingly it looks like a Eurocopter may have managed to land on the Everest summit in a publicity stunt! I know which method I would prefer - that's right flying right over it in a jet and ignoring that pointless piece of snowy rock.
  24. Abandoned on Mt Everest

    Interesting article - good find!
