  1. Ive only used the hard flight model - is that what you are using? how are you controlling this - do you roll to about 100kts then change the nozzles?? Bear in mind that when you get airbourne you cant just change the nozzles back to the other extreme - move then back slowly until you reach about 300kts then put them back fully - also after you take off keep your flaps down for a bit until you maintain control
  2. Wish I played this game more - last time I used LGBs they could only hit a static main target!!! So I'm not sure when this functionality was added but: find the trucks on radar: Spot them on Low Light TV Target them in FLIR and lock the laser on (well press E) Watch the GBU-12 make changes and fly towards the truck: Watch it from the comfort of the cockpit muhahaha: We can finally then have a B-57G that does what its supposed to do over the Ho Chi Minh Trail! Best bit is - all the wingmen fire them at the trucks too - and get kills!!!
  3. The last time i used an LGB you could only target the main mission target - which was obviously some time ago! im not sure when this abilty came in - needless to say im not bothering to test it on older games so it either works or doesn't
  4. its not out yet - im updating it for SF2V so it can use the newer features.
  5. To those 57 who downloaded the RB-57E from yesterday - I have updated it today - Dave has added a new cockpit with radar/ camera/ audio RWR and ive tidied up the loadout selection screen a bit - sorry about that (again) http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?autoc...p;showfile=9410
  6. Most of the design changes were made to deal with Vistas UAC according to him - his games have to work properly out of the box im afraid - and he has compensated us in some other ways. Keeping the mod files separate to the game files is much better for newbies - who stand less chance of messing up the game install. The new merged install is miles better - also requiring only 1 patch install. Weapons are now plug and play like the Aircraft
  7. File Name: Canberra B mk2 Luftwaffe and Rhodesian AF File Submitter: MigBuster File Submitted: 11 July 2009 File Category: Canberra Canberra B.2 (West German Luftwaffe) and Canberra B.2 (Rodesian Air Force) for the "Strike Fighters 2" Series by Ahmed Junaid Raza B.2 Cockpit with bombardier view by Daniel "Kesselbrut" Himmel WGAF skin by Soulfreak RRAF skin by Michael (Mike1) Riddell Special thanks to Spinners for making the 3D model more accurate and making me find some better reference material :) Updated for SF 2 series by MigBuster and Spinners (July 2009) In 1957 the Royal Rhodesian Air Force ordered 15 B.2s and three T.4s. These were delivered two years later. These were said to have seen action in several regional wars in the area. The version here represents the RRAF from 1971 to 1980. (Rhodesia is now called Zimbabwe) In 1961 three ex-RAF Canberras were purchased by Germany for trials and experimental use flying with Erprobungstelle 61 - these were delived in 1966. Read the installations!! Released under Freeware Licensing only: http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?showt...t=0&start=0 Click here to download this file
  8. Have found the SF2 harrier model to be easier to use in VTOL myself - but I always roll before taking off - normally because iam carrying weapons have you tried it with a clean Harrier?
  9. Some people have reported similar things at thirdwires forums - but TK has often said try downloading the files again and reinstalling them. when you say the textures are missing - i assume you are seeing white planes?
  10. step 1 here: http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?showtopic=44026
  11. Motivational Picture

    haha nice one!
  12. Ive a merged install like you but I run all 3 exe files to run the games separately - so they can each have separate Mods in them and the correct aircraft. When you run one of the exes for the first time it will create a new folder structure in your Mod folders specifically for that game.
  13. you can if you have an SF1 game - but you still need the weapons editor to compile it.
  14. Should add also that the RB-57E is getting an avionics update soon from Dave
  15. ah yeah that would help too - thanks :)

  22. Should do - the pit is actually included in the old Falklands mod for SF1
  23. All you need is the correct weapons editor for your game - you can then change the params of all the weps Even better - you could even just make a copy of the MK82SE and call it what you want - then save it 2 second job :)
